“Mom, how did you know about this? Who told you this? Who’s spreading this rumour?”

Ashley said angrily, “Rumour? Okay, then come with me to the clinic and I’ll check it for you. I’ll see for

But Ashley started laughing. She let go of Yasmeen and said to Jaydon, “Can you get Lucas to come

over here?”

“Young Master said that I can’t leave Miss Shaw, not even for a bit. Young Master will come over when

the time comes. Dr. Ashley, please be patient. I’ll give him a call right now.”

She walked away after saying that and immediately made a call to Lucas.

Lucas quickly rushed to Yasmeen’s ward after hearing from Jaydon that Yasmeen and Ashley were

arguing in the room. His conversation with Joseph came to an abrupt stop.

“Aunty Ashley, please calm down.”

Lucas walked into the room swiftly. Yasmeen hurriedly walked up to him also.

She went up and tried to take his clothes off after saying that.

She knew that Yasmeen liked Lucas, but she thought that it was just a childish obsession. She thought

that if Lucas ignored Yasmeen for long enough, she would lose interest. She hoped that Yasmeen

would then meet another man that was sincerely in love with her, and they would live happily ever after.

Yasmeen was willing to do everything for Lucas. Ashley felt like he didn’t deserve her daughter.
