Don't Annoy My Boss Daddy

Chapter 77 Anger

Chapter 77 Anger

I couldn't sleep that night. When I got up the next morning, I looked at the two big dark circles under

my eyes in the mirror and sighed irritably.

I prepared some breakfast but I had no appetite at all. I ate a little and went to the company.

As he said, Brandon was going to stay in the company for half a year. I thought that Brandon was just

saying that, but I didn't expect him to really stay.

Looking at the temporary president's office not far away and thinking of what happened with Brandon

last night, I began to feel a little worried.

Every time I saw him, I was stressed. I would have to see him for the next six months. I wasn't sure

how I would survive this time.

Fortunately, Brandon was a workaholic. When he worked, he wouldn't see anyone and didn't

deliberately make things difficult for me.

I was about to get off work. I was sorting out the documents on my desk when my cell phone rang. I

saw the caller ID. It was a call from Dylan.

I panicked and looked at the president's office guiltily.

Seeing that Brandon was still focused on the documents in his hand, I answered the phone.

"Rest assured. Are you still busy? Why did you take so long to answer the phone?"

Dylan's gentle voice came from the other end of the phone, with a hint of tenderness.

"Yes, I just finished my work. I'm ready to get off work."

I responded faintly and looked at the president's office again. I found that Brandon was staring at me at Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

the moment.

When I looked into his deep eyes, I panicked and quickly looked away. I didn't know why I would feel

guilty while calling Dylan in front of him.

"Hollie. We haven't seen each other for several days. Let's have dinner together tonight."

Dylan's voice came from the other end of the phone again, which brought back my thoughts.

"Well, I..."

I didn't know how to face Dylan now. I had already agreed with Brandon to carry on our relationship for

another half a year, which meant that Dylan and I wouldn't be able to be together like regular couples.

But if I had to maintain such a relationship with Brandon and give up Dylan, I was still a little reluctant. It

was not because I was fickle, it was just that a suitable marriage partner was hard to come by.

It was very troublesome for me to find a suitable marriage partner, and I might not be able to find such

a suitable person next time.

"Hollie, what's wrong? Is it inconvenient for you to talk right now?"

Before I could answer, Dylan's voice came again, with disappointment in his tone.

"No, then we..."

I wanted to say yes to Dylan, but Brandon's voice came from not far away.

"Hollie, there are still some documents here. Hurry up and sort them out."

Brandon stood not far away from me and looked at my phone with a cold face. There was no

expression on his handsome face.

"Oh, okay..."

I looked at Brandon in a daze and didn't react to what was happening for a while.

"Dylan, I'm sorry. I may have to work overtime. Let's go out another day, okay?"

In fact, I just couldn't find a reason to refuse Dylan. Now Brandon gave me a suitable reason, so I felt a

little fortunate.

Dylan on the other end of the phone also heard what Brandon had just said to me, so I didn't have to

worry about what he would think.

"Well, since you have to work overtime, I won't bother you anymore. I'll treat you to dinner when you're

free."

Dylan was a very considerate man. After hearing what I said, he didn't say much.

I hung up the phone and breathed a long sigh of relief in my heart. I didn't know if it was because of my

relationship with Brandon that I didn't know how to face Dylan now.

Hanging up the phone, I turned around and found that Brandon was still standing in front of me. I was

shocked and quickly took a few steps back.

"Where are the documents?"

I looked into Brandon's deep eyes and asked with an unnatural expression.

It was time to get off work. My colleagues have already left, so Brandon was not worried that someone

will see us standing so close to each other.

"Was that a call from that little lawyer?"

Brandon did not answer my question, nor did he give me any documents. Instead, he shifted the topic

to Dylan.

When he said this, his tone was haughty, and he had disdain in his eyes.

I was just an ordinary person, but I didn't like people with haughty attitudes. Brandon's behaviour

annoyed me.

"His name is Dylan, not a small lawyer!"

Although it was undeniable that he had the capital to be superior, Dylan was still a successful lawyer. It

was disrespectful of Brandon to call him a small lawyer.

"Are you defending him? Hollie, you forgot what I told you before. In the next six months, you can only

be my woman. I won't allow you to have another man!"

Hearing my words, Brandon's face turned cold. He strode toward me and looked down at me with

coldness in his black eyes.

"You mean you don't allow me to sleep with another man, but you didn't say that I can't keep contact

with him. In the next half a year, I won't sleep with Dylan, but he is someone I am sure I will marry.

When the agreement between us ends half a year later, I will have nothing to do with you."

I knew it was unfair for me to have Dylan as a backup, but I've finally found someone suitable for

marriage. If I gave up like this, I wouldn't be satisfied.

"Hollie, are you such a fickle person? Am I not enough to satisfy you? You still want to hook up with

another man!"

Brandon drew closer to me step by step. There was already anger in his eyes as he looked at me. His

voice was terrifyingly cold.

"Brandon, don't go too far. I've already agreed to your conditions. What else do you want? Do you want

me to give up my happiness for the rest of my life because of this shameful relationship with you?"

My heart was also filled with anger. In front of Brandon, I had already compromised enough. I wanted

to have control over my relationships!

"Your happiness? Are you sure you made the right choice?"

The corners of Brandon's mouth curled into a disdainful smile. His gaze grew colder and colder as he

looked at me.

"I believe I made the right choice. I hope you don't interfere with my life. We are just friends with

benefits. I promise you that I won't sleep with another man for half a year."
