Dirty Little Secret

Unice’s PoV

“Are you all right? I didn’t burn the body because of you.” While smoking a cigarette on the rooftop, Ace said he is used to killing people with ease, just like he killed Edward.

“I’m afraid if you get arrested, I’ll be alone. But before that, I have something to tell you.” I told Ace, and I turned away because I was going to tell him I didn’t take birth control pills.

“I lied about taking birth control pills; the truth is that I forgot to take them and buy them,” I told him, and when I looked at him, he smiled and touched my hand.

“Are you noticing any changes in your body?” Ace asked, and I shook because I hadn’t felt anything about my health since our last sex.

“I don’t feel anything different, but if I’m pregnant, I might feel it in a week,” I explained, and he nodded.

“I’d be happy if you were pregnant; I’m not angry that you lied to me for the second time.” Ace was confident, and I pouted.

“I’m sorry; I think I need to get a pregnancy test first. So we will know the outcome.” I suggested it to him, and he nodded and stopped smoking.

“Let’s sleep; I’m going to my company tomorrow. If anything happens, call me immediately,” Ace said as he stood up, and I nodded.

When we arrived, I noticed his house was in disarray; I intend to clean it up tomorrow, after which I will go to the nearest convenience store and purchase the required items. When I entered his room, he removed his fitted black jacket and pants and washed his hands in the bathroom. I also removed my clothes, wearing only my sports bra and shorts.

“I’m exhausted and want to sleep.” Ace muttered, and he was wearing only his boxer shorts, exposing his abs. I’ve already changed my clothes because I was wearing the maid outfit earlier.

“Come here; I want to hug you,” Ace said, and I approached him. And before I lay down, I turned off the light to still see him.

I lay down and felt him hug me so tightly that my heart was racing; I closed my eyes to sleep as well, but suddenly, I was outside Ace Mansion, and why was it black? The windows are shattered, and the door is smashed.

As I open my eyes and catch my breath after having a nightmare, I realize it’s a nightmare, but when I look at Ace, he’s still sleeping and hugging me. I smiled and moved my hand slowly to touch his face.

I close my eyes again to go back to sleep, hoping not to have another bad dream.

I awoke the following day because I felt Ace move, and when I opened my eyes, I saw him stretching his arms.

“Good morning, honey,” Ace greeted me by kissing me on the cheek.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

“I’m going to make breakfast; do you want to take a shower now?” I ask him and stretch my arms before putting on my slippers.

“Justin and Tom will be here today; I told them to keep an eye on you because you may feel ill.” Ace told me, and I nodded.

“What will you do with Edward’s car now that it’s still here?” I interrogate him.

“I’ll hide it in my basement, remove the plate number, wash it to remove the evidence, and have it dispatched by my men.” Ace explained, and I nodded. We exited his room, and I walked over to the kitchen to begin preparing breakfast.

After I sat down and sipped my hot chocolate, I noticed Ace wearing his black suit, and as he sat down, he began to eat the breakfast I had prepared. It appears that what happened yesterday didn’t bother him, and he didn’t bruise much. He is an intense and brutal person who you don’t want to mess with.

After a few minutes, Ace finished his meal and sipped his coffee while I stood up from my seat because I was also finished eating. Ace stood up and walked out of the mansion. I followed him and saw Justin and Tom.

“Good morning, boss! Please tell us about what happened last night!” Max inquires of Ace, who ignores his friend, and Max appears perplexed.

“We’re leaving right now, Miss Unice!” I waved my hand as Max said goodbye, and Ace entered the car.

“Take care,” I said as the car drove away, and Tom and Justin both looked at me.

“Did you two already eat breakfast?” I asked, and they both shook their heads.

“How come you didn’t tell me? Is it because Ace was still here?” I inquire.

“Because the boss will get angry and jealous,” Tom is terrified, and I laugh.

“Come inside; I’ll prepare breakfast for the two of you, and please excuse the mess. You already know what happened yesterday,” I said, and they were relieved and went inside.

I began preparing breakfast for the two, and they began to eat and converse once I was finished.

“I’ll go to my room and enjoy your breakfast.” They nodded as I walked out of the kitchen and into my room.

I entered my room and went to the cabinet to get some new clothes. I’m going to shower first, then clean the mess here, then I’ll go to the convenience store and ask Tom to accompany me.

I go to the bathroom, fill the bathtub with water, remove my clothes, and begin to wash while in the bathtub. After taking a bath, I stood up and drained the water from the bathtub.

I dried myself, then put on the clothes I brought with me to the bathroom, and as I exited, I heard Tom and Justin laughing. I proceed to their location.

“Miss Unice! Are you going somewhere today?” Tom interrogates me.

“Yes, at the convenience store, and I’ll clean the house; could you two accompany me? Or is it just Tom?” I asked, and they exchanged glances.

“I can accompany you, and Justin will stay here at the house in case anything happens,” Tom suggested, and I nodded.

“All right, let me pick up the money Ace left for me,” I said as I walked over to Ace’s room. I entered the room and saw the money on the gaming desk when I got there.

I take it and leave his room to go to my room to put on my shoes; I’m wearing a black jacket with fitted jeans. I choose my sneakers and put them on before leaving my room with my small bag.

“Let’s go, Miss Unice,” Tom said. I nodded, and we exited the house, where I noticed the car they used.

I got into the car and buckled my seat belt, then I picked up my phone from my little bag and saw a message from Zoey, which I opened, and she was worried about me.

From: Zoey

I’m concerned because you didn’t call or text me; is everything fine after what Ace planned?

To: Zoey

Everything went as planned; where are you today? Are you at work?

From: Zoey

Yes, I’m working, and tonight is a celebration party for our boss’s birthday.

To: Zoey

Best wishes. If I need you, Zoey, I’ll text you.

As the car started, I placed my phone in my bag, and Tom took the wheel.
