Bonus chapter: Leonard's escape

Leonard's POV

Waylon Palace

Eyes- mirror to the soul and crystal glass of emotions. The glass breaks, reconstructs and then

remembers the scars.

"Oh looks like my men have done a large mistake. They are fools Mr Leonard, don't mind them."

"Who are you and what do you want?" I snarled.

"Straight to the point Mr Waylon... I see, well we are here to kill you"

Looking at my terrified daughter and wife, I saw something snap in Ajax's eyes, a spell was broken and

a curse was placed.

The Mob boss loaded the gun and pointed at my head.

"Wait" a voice came our strong despite terror and trepidation seizing the environment.

"What little boy, wanna bid farewell to daddy?" I realised the voice was of my ten year old child.

"No, I want to kill him myself" I whirled my head towards him with the speed which could have broken

my neck. The Mafiaman was in shock too.

"Ajax? Baby what are you doing?" My wife was in complete shock while Dia pressed her face in my

hand, I could not comprehend the situation, I was completely shell shocked.

"What I should have done years ago, when he loved this little bitch more than me, he never cared

mom, you should be at my side" Ajax's voice sounded hard....almost cruel but I heard a faint

uncertainty lingering.

My wife Liliana was the sister of American Mafia Don Julian Romanov, Although she never approved of

violence, I still insisted to train Ajax since he was seven.

Although I never have had it....not even in my nightmares that my own child would be forced to kill me.

Rage conquering blood is lethal but Ajax was not a beast.

"Give the boy a gun" the assassin held out a gun for him, they were many- too many and they pointed

their guns to our whole family if he tried being smart. I saw death.

"No I want to kill him painfully, I want a knife" Lilliana hugged me tightly and begged him to stop but I

knew, I saw it in his eyes. An understanding passed between us. He had a plan.

My life was not important, my family was. They would kill me and do indecipherable things to my family.

We didn't have a choice.

A knife was plunged deep inside my abdomen, I wheezed out blood groaning in pain. A strike on my

thigh made me howl painfully, thick warm blood began flowing, I came to my knees and the world

became blur.

Shattered windows, a warm fluid coating my hair and unbearable pain in my body woke me up.

Memories of the Men attacking, my death came rushing back....how was I alive?

I tried getting up, clutching my abdomin I made my way towards the room with constant sound....cries

"Lilly" I wheezed out blood. "Lilly! Dia!"

I called out opening the door of the basement.

"L-LEO!" They came rushing towards me..."How? W-what is happening Leo...you need

medication...fast, I will call Julian" Lilliana touched my shoulder to which I winced, she didn't wasted

time but rushed to the main room leaving my terrified daughter.

"Daddy is here sweetheart" I groaned as my legs gave out to which her little hands tried to get me up

while she sobbed.

"A family friend is coming Leo" In considerably no time Lilliana was beside me, keeling on the floor,

Julian did not attended her phone but she called my assistant who was coming with his most trusted

guards.

"Lilly, Ajax....he saved us darling, h-he...Aaaahhh" I doubled in pain to which my wife cried harder. "...he

used human a-anatomy to know what would slow down my pulse making me s-seem d-dead......but will

keep me alive if we received help ...forgive h-him" a gasp was the last thing I heard and with that I

blacked out completely.
