Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 1595

Wendy was sobbing, her eyes swollen, as she raged through the Bennitt household.

"Who the hell uploaded those videos? Did Zoey have the guts to do this? And what in the world is Maja

up to! Block her account now, do it! Or sue her, I want her ruined!"

But as Wendy finished her rant, the Bennitt family remained silent, their energy drained.

Wendy stiffened, her voice uncertain.

"What's wrong, isn't she just some nobody? Just someone who got lucky with Ian?"

"Wendy," a voice finally broke the silence, "this is more complicated than you think. We've learned that

Maja is not only backed by Ian, but she's also the lost little princess of the Sanders family. You know

the Sanders' standing in North America. Beck has already shown his support for his sister on his social

media overseas."

Wendy felt as if she'd been struck by lightning, disbelief etched into her features. How did that woman

become Miss Sanders?

And how could Maja go so far for Zoey? Wasn't Zoey just a regular employee at Star Movie Group?

The room remained quiet. No one had expected Maja to get involved.

Someone suggested, "Why not give Maja a call? Tyler has her number, right? We could clear up any

misunderstanding over the phone."

But what misunderstanding could there be?

The video of Wendy humiliating Zoey was still trending, and Maja was clearly standing up for her own.

Wendy slumped to the floor, covering her face in despair, "Get me her contact from Tyler. I'll talk to her.

Is Maja really willing to cross the Bennitts for Zoey, a mere employee?"

When Tyler received the call, he wanted to say reaching out to Maja would be futile, that she was

fiercely protective and Wendy had gone too far.

But he couldn't be bothered to explain. They asked, so he gave them the contact.

Wendy immediately dialed Maja's number.

Maja didn't recognize the unfamiliar number as Wendy's and answered.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is Wendy Bennitt."

The next second, the call was disconnected.

Listening to the dial tone, Wendy was in shock. How dare she hang up on her!

She tried calling again, but this time, her number was blocked straight away.

Wendy trembled, barely containing her anger, as she turned to the rest of the Bennitts.

"You call her."

But who would dare?

Who could guarantee that calling her wouldn't make things worse for the Bennitts?

Wendy took a deep breath, "What are we afraid of? We are the Bennitts! Let's buy out Star Movie

Group right now. She's not even in the country. Let her cry all she wants!"

At this, the room seemed to agree that Wendy had lost her mind.

Buy out Star Movie Group?

The Sanders could snap up the Bennitts' businesses in a heartbeat.

Wendy was just hysterical; she knew she couldn't actually buy Maja's company.

Tears welled up in her eyes, not understanding where she had gone wrong.

The online backlash grew worse by the hour. The Bennitts' stock price fell by a third in just a few hours,

causing losses in the billions.

"Wendy, apologize to Maja. Maybe she'll let us off the hook."

"Yeah, swallow your pride. If this continues, our stock will keep plummeting."

Wendy's eyes showed disbelief. Apologize to Maja?

Just as she thought this, a call came from the Haskins.

Mr. Haskins had seen the video too and called off the engagement without a second thought.

Wendy's face went pale.

"The videos online are fake, I can explain. I need to speak with Fitch."

But Fitch was known for his ruthlessness towards women; why would he agree to meet her?

Only then did Wendy realize she had underestimated the fallout of her actions.

She rushed out the door, determined to find Fitch in person.

But Fitch was in his villa, watching the videos online, especially the scene where Wendy confronted

Even if Fitch had no affection for Zoey, describing Wendy's actions as deranged was putting it mildly.
