Darling, Please Love Me Again! (Gisele Meyer)

Chapter 69

Chapter 69

If only Dorian would check the surveillance footage, or if he hadn’t treated her so harshly, Gisele could forgive all the nasty things he’d said to her out of panic. If only he’d had given her a chance to explain, she

would have forgiven him.

Dorian was blinded by her smile momentarily. Then, he replied, “Yes.”

She had hurt someone, but she did not seem to have any intention of apologizing, and was even smiling so brightly. That made him feel even more uncomfortable.

“Sure,” Gisele complied with a smile.

Aspen frowned, not too happy with the decision. “Gigi”

“Ahh!” Sierra let out a loud shriek the moment a slap landed on her face.

The very next second, before anyone could react, Gisele took out three silver needles and inserted them Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

into Sierra’s wound.

Bleeding from the minor wound had actually stopped, but when the needles were pieced into the wound, Gisele paired it with a twisting motion. As the needles twisted and turned, blood began flowing from the wound again immediately.

The pain was much more unbearable than when Sierra inflicted the wound on herself.

“Don…” Sierra was in so much pain that tears fell.

She never expected Gisele to be so ruthless and that she would actually cause her pain, even with Dorian right there with them.

Slow to react, Dorian was just about to say something, but Gisele had already extracted the needles, Then, without another word, she pushed them both to the ground.

“From tomorrow onward, I will go and visit you every other day and take good care of you. Just send me your address,” Gisele said expressionlessly.

She had given him a chance. He just didn’t appreciate it.

Gisele turned to Aspen and smiled sweetly. “Do you have wet tissue?”

“Will a handkerchief do?” Aspen’s perception of her took a 180 turn. He quickly pulled out a handkerchief

from his pocket and handed it to her.

Gisele nodded with a smile. Then, she took the handkerchief from him and wiped her fingers with it.

“I’m sorry, Aspen. I’ll buy you a new one to replace this.”

“Don’t worry about it.” Aspen wasn’t too concerned about a mere handkerchief.

Gisele then chucked the soiled handkerchief into the trash can with such a disgusted look that it was as

though she wasn’t throwing away a handkerchief, bot Dorian, whom she considered dirty

Dorian, who was still on the ground, clenched his jaws with a dark expression as he watched her leave.

Why, that wretched woman!

When they passed by the store front, Gisele handed a prescription that she jotted down on a piece of paper to Jett. “Jett, please prepare these herbs for me. I’ll send someone to collect them tomorrow.”

“Oh, sure, no problem!” Jett took the prescription from her and puffed out his chest, agreeing to it with a

chuckle.

“Of course I’ll get them all sorted out for you, we’ve worked together for so many years!”

“Thank you, Jett,” Gisele said before taking her leave.

Jett was just about to tell her about the surveillance cameras, but she’d already left.

“Jett, please email me a copy of the surveillance video. I’d appreciate that,” Aspen said as he handed his

name card to Jett.

Jett exclaimed jovially when he heard that, as he exclaimed, “Gigi sure has a doting husband! I was just about to tell her about the surveillance cameras! Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to send you a copy of the footage!

“Thank you,” Aspen said with a smile. Before he left, he caught sight of Dorian, who stood there with an ashen expression on his face. A smile tugged on Aspen’s l*ps.

“Mr. Witham, thank you for that,” Gisele said when they got back into the car.

Had it not been for him, perhaps she’d have become a laughing stock.

“I’m the one who should be thanking you. Had it not been for you, I’d have been the one embarrassed and end up becoming a laughing stock,” Aspen said gently with a bitter look on his face.

Gisele stared blankly back at him, not understanding what he meant by that.
