Chapter 1593 Rift

Chapter 1593  Rift

"Whoa! Run away! If you're caught up in that, you're dead!"

Grand Elder Du's Grand Mystic Typhoon was strong enough to kill every entity there, and not wanting to get caught up in their mess, the people at the Endless Beast Den began running away.

"We've only been here a few days, and he's already angered someone? He's really talented in that regard, as well." Xi Meili chuckled slightly before returning to her training.

She had no doubt that Yuan would be able to handle a few Spirit Sovereigns alone and was not worried for his safety in the slightest.

"Don't force my hand, young man! This is your final warning!" Grand Elder Du warned Yuan for the final time.

"If you're that worried for me, why even bother attacking me in the first place? Just get this over with so I can return to my training." Yuan said, sounding a little bored.

"What a pity!" Grand Elder Du shook his head and increased the rate at which he gathered his spiritual energy.

A few moments later, he released all of that built-up energy, unleashing the technique.

The massive typhoon immediately collapsed on Yuan, consuming him and everything around him. The magical beasts swallowed by the technique were instantly torn to shreds, and their blood scattered everywhere, causing it to rain blood.

Grand Elder Du panted afterward, completely out of spiritual energy after using that one devastating technique.

"A-are you sure it was okay to kill him when we don't even know his identity? A talent like that surely didn't come from nowhere. What if he lied about coming from the Lower Heaven and actually came from the Upper Heavens?" one of the other individuals brought by Elder Hao asked in a slightly worried tone.

"I think it's a little too late to ask those questions now, Grand Elder Lu," another individual said.

Grand Elder Du nodded and said, "Grand Elder Tang is right. We're way past that now. I didn't want to kill him, but he left me no choice."

"You make it sound like I had a sword against your neck or threatened your life." A familiar voice suddenly resounded.

"W-what…?"

"T-that's impossible!" Grand Elder Du exclaimed after hearing Yuan's voice, shouting so loud that his saliva went everywhere.

Whoosh!

As if cut by a sword, the typhoon suddenly split perfectly in half.

Once the typhoon dispersed, Yuan could be seen standing in his original location without so much as a single blemish on his body.

"Y-you must have used a life-saving treasure! There's no other explanation!" Grand Elder Du cried out loud, not daring to believe that Yuan had endured his most powerful technique with his bare body.

Without responding, Yuan suddenly took a step forward and disappeared into thin air.

When he reappeared, he was standing right in front of Grand Elder Du with a domineering aura around him.

Before Grand Elder Du could even respond, Yuan swung his arm, backhanding Grand Elder Du in the face and sending him flying.

"?!?!"

Seeing this, the other two and Elder Hao immediately went into a combative stance. Yuan glanced at them and said, "I will only attack those who attack me first, so if you wish for me to attack you, let me know. Otherwise, I'm going to resume my training."

Grand Elder Lu and Grand Elder Tang exchanged glances with each other. They were all Grand Elders, second to the Sect Masters of the Three Grand Sects. They had never been disrespected in such a manner, much less threatened by a junior.

They were both Spirit Sovereigns, an entire realm above Yuan in terms of cultivation. Logically speaking, they should be able to deal with him without even breaking a sweat. Yet, neither of them felt like they could defeat him.

As for Elder Hao… if he thought he could defeat Yuan, he wouldn't have requested help from three experts.

"If you're not going to do anything, I will resume my training now. Don't worry, I will make sure I don't bother the others while I am training as long as they don't bother me, and I will leave as soon as I am satisfied."

After uttering such words, Yuan turned around and continued hunting magical beasts without a care in the world, leaving the Grand Elders speechless.

"Maybe we should just leave him alone… It's not like he's bothering anyone…" Grand Elder Lu mumbled.

"Huh? You want to let him go after he spat on our faces? If we don't do anything, the Three Grand Sects will become a laughingstock once news begins spreading!" Grand Elder Tang looked at her with wide eyes.

Grand Elder Lu turned to look at Grand Elder Du, who was lying on the ground unconscious several miles away after receiving Yuan's slap.

"Let's attack him together! I bet he's only acting tough!" Grand Elder Tang said with a serious frown on his face.

"But I only came here to spectate…" Grand Elder Lu sighed.

"Do you have any idea how much our images will hurt if we back down now?! Not only will we be forfeiting to a junior, but we even allowed him to disrespect the Three Grand Sects! I'd be surprised if we remain Grand Elders if we leave without doing anything!"

Grand Elder Lu clenched her teeth after hearing Grand Elder Tang's persuasion, but she couldn't refute his words.

"Alright… let's attack him together…" she eventually agreed. Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

Grand Elder Tang nodded in acknowledgment.

The next moment, their aura began surging when they started gathering spiritual energy for their technique.

"..."

Yuan noticed what they were trying to do, but he simply ignored them and continued his training, acting as if they weren't even there.

His indifference and blatant lack of respect infuriated the Grand Elders, causing their aura to skyrocket.

The Grand Elders unleashed their techniques simultaneously a moment later, and their combined techniques crashed into Yuan and the Endless Beast Den.

The impact violently shook the ground, causing a powerful earthquake.

Additionally, the mountain with the Endless Beast Den exploded.

"..."

The entire place became dead silent as everyone stared at the destruction with wide eyes. The only individual who wasn't paying attention was Xi Meili, who was still focused on her target.

Suddenly, a powerful wind with a vacuum effect emerged, drawing in the dust and rubble.

Once all of the dust was gone, everyone could see that a rift had appeared where the Endless Beast Den once existed.

"What is that?" Grand Elder Lu asked.

"No idea… but that wasn't there a moment ago…" Grand Elder Tang said. "Anyway, where did that brat go? Did we vaporize him?"

"Wait… there's no more magical beasts appearing…" Elder Hao suddenly noticed this.

"What? Is it because we destroyed the mountain?" Grand Elder Lu immediately began panicking.

"That's not possible! This isn't the first time the Endless Beast Den has been blown up, and the beasts continued to appear despite that!" Grand Elder Tang quickly said.

"Yuan…?" Xi Meili suddenly halted her training when she noticed that Yuan's presence had suddenly disappeared.

When she saw the rift, she immediately thought Yuan had entered it and quickly approached it. However, before she could get close, the rift closed, vanishing into thin air.
