Chapter 79: catching Jerry

Dinner withJerry. We are both from work. Somebody has to see him eat graciously like the commercial

on tv. I can't help but look at him. Is he eating or is he acting in front of camera. I'm not sure. I tried to

be gracious as well. But it's not me. I'm so clumsy. I have to think of how to bother Jerry after the meal.

I missed giving him a head ache.

"What are you thinking Tara? You have a evil smirk on your face." He asked intrigued.

"Nothing! I'm just planning ahead for business and stuff!"

"Interesting. I want to hear that plan.

"I will tell you some other time for now let's just talk of simple things. So how was your work today?" I

transfered the spotlight to Jerry.

" New projects are coming. Just simple issues with the artists which is very easy to handle."

"What issue?" I asked.

"Love triangle between my talents. It's all over the internet. You probably heard it already."

" Aaah that one." I answered shortly.

"How about your office? What is happening with the two boys Andrei and Drake?"

"They are boring unlike you. Everything is interesting about you!"

"Stop patronizing me! Andrei seems nice. And he is so fit!"

"Don't tell me you like Andrei?"

"Not for me, I like him for you. You seem to be so desperate to get a partner. So why can't you be with

him. I heard he is single."

"He is forever single. I know Andrei so much that's why I don't like him."

" You know me too well too. What's the difference?"

"The difference is. We are friends. We trust each other and you will never betray me. You are not

definitely after my money since you're way richer than me. Tha'ts the difference. And I don't like

anybody who has been touched by Lisa."

" Hahaha girl then you don't like me then." He laughed like crazy over that last statement of mine. It just

mean one thing that Lisa is already been to Jerry's nest. " Seriously how can you think this way. Just try

this guy and sleep with him. Don't think about trust or love."

" I don't see myself doing that with him."

"Just sleep with guy. Only then you're vision about him will get clearer. If after that you still can't see

yourself being with him then so be it."

Jerry is so desperate to pair me with somebody else. He is obviously pushing me away. It's not gonna

happen.

" It doesn't make sense to me. Sleeping with someone I don't like."

" What doesn't make sense is you liking a guy who directly says he is not interested with you!"

"But I like that guy. I am more comfortable with him." I'm directly insisting myself to Jerry while he

rejects me again and again.

"Well I think he finds you annoying!"

"Really so I'm annoying now? I'm so hurt. I just wanna cry right now and drown myself with vodka!"

"Tara just give up this thought of yours about me getting married coz it's not gonna happen. Just like

what you said if you don't see yoùrself being with that someone then it doesn't make sense pushing
