Brandon sighed softly and was about to walk inside the house when Arianna’s car drove inside the compound.

The octuplets who had seen Brandon from inside the car, rushed out of the car and ran toward him.

“Daddy” They called and all hugged him at once.

“Sweethearts” Brandon smiled as he ruffled their hairs one after the other and they all giggled.

“Hey mom” Brandon muttered to Arianna who was now standing in front of him.

“Brandon, did you buy a new car?” Arianna asked and Brandon nodded with a weird look on his face.

“Oh, Uhm kids, go to your room now. I’ll call you guys for dinner shortly” Arianna said and the kids nodded and ran inside the house happily.

“What’s wrong? And why is there a new car here?” Arianna asked the moment the kids left.

“Oh my goodness! When did all this happen?” She asked, looking curious.

“Today turns out her father is the business partner we had gone to meet up with today,” Brandon said and Arianna sighed.

“Hannah had already told me about her father in the past and I know how much she hates him. It would be difficult for her to forgive or even give him a chance-”

“I know, I could see the hatred in her eyes when she saw him. Maybe you could talk to her ” she said and Arianna paused for some seconds and then sighed softly.

“I’ll talk to her, you should apologize to her too and let her know you didn’t get the car for her because you want her to give her father a chance. Maybe you should prepare dinner for her” she said and Brandon nodded.

Arianna gave him one last glance before walking inside the house.

Brandon then walked inside the house and walked inside the kitchen.

“Sir, do you need anything?” Alex the butler asked the moment Brandon walked in.

“I want to prepare dinner for my wife”

“But sir…”

“Alex,” Brandon called and Alex nodded.

“Okay sir, if you need anything, I’m willing to assist-”

“Okay first off, I need an apron,” he said and Alex pulled out an apron and gave it to him.

Meanwhile, Hannah is seen in her room sitting on the couch staring into nothing.

“He met with my father behind my back and now bought a car to convince me into seeing him, never,” she thought and then sighed.

Just then she heard a knock on the door and the door opened revealing Arianna.

“Mom” Hannah called the moment she saw her.

“Hey sweetheart,” Arianna said as she walked fully inside the room and closed the door behind her.

Hannah stood up and went to hug her.

“I missed you,” she said as she hugged her so tight and Arianna smiled.

“Okay, okay don’t choke me. We talked this morning, how come you missed me?” She said as she pulled away from the hug and they both sat on the chair.

“I saw him today-”

“Your dad, I know,” she said and Hannah stared at her with a look of curiosity wondering how she knew.

“Your husband told me everything,” Arianna said and she muttered an oh.

“So you are here to talk me into seeing him?” Hannah asked.

“What? No. Whatever you want to do is your choice, I’m not going to tell you what to do but if you were to ask for my opinion, I would suggest you hear him out.

I understand how you feel because he abandoned you, and whatever he does can never make up for those times he left, although I do not know your father and have never seen him or know what he looks like, just hear him out. Please, honey.

Think about it” Arianna said and Hannah sighed softly.

“You should go get something to eat in the kitchen,” Arianna said

“But I’m not hungry-”

“I insist, go get water so you can digest all I have said, and then think about it,” Arianna said with a smile on her face and Hannah nodded and stood up.

She gave Arianna one last glance before going to the kitchen to get water.

She walked down the stairs and then walked inside the kitchen only to see Brandon putting on an apron and cutting some onions and Alex was standing a few feet away from him, watching him.

Brandon was so focused on trying to cut the onion and didn’t notice the presence of Hannah in the kitchen.

“What are you doing Brandon?” Hannah asked and Brandon turned to her.

“Preparing chicken soup for you, so you can have it for dinner. I know it’s one of your favorites. I know you are wondering how I knew, the kids had told me before” Brandon said and Hannah bit her inner lips.

“Chicken soup is not my favorite,” she said as she walked towards the fridge and brought out a bottle of water.

“Then what’s your favorite? Tell me, I will prepare anything you want” he said as he dropped the knife, removed the hand cloves he was wearing, and walked towards her.

“Nothing, just let me be, Brandon Colby,” Hannah said and Brandon felt his heart shattered at the fact that she called him by his full name.

She glared at him and saw the pain in his eyes when she called him Brandon Colby but she cared less.

She was about to walk away from the kitchen but then Brandon was fast and he stood in front of her blocking her way.
