“Dad!” Hannah managed to say.

“H…Hannah” Daniel called as he felt his heartbeat increase. He tried moving towards Hannah but then she moved back.

“Don’t you dare come close to me” Hannah said as tears gathered in her eyes, with her mouth shivering.

She then turned to Brandon who was staring at the both of them looking confused.

“Did you know he was here?” Hannah asked and Brandon stared at him looking confused.

“What are you talking about?” Brandon asked but then Hannah looked away from him and then turned to Daniel.

She shook her head as she stared at him with pure hatred and disappointment in her eyes.

She then walked out of the room and then went to Brandon’s car outside the hotel.

Brandon stared at Daniel who was looking devastated.

“Sir, are you okay?” His assistant asked and he nodded.

“Okay now, I’m confused, what the hell is going on here?” Brandon asked.

“That was my daughter, Hannah Rodriguez, ” Mr Daniel said and Brandon paused for a second.

“What?” He muttered with a surprised look on his face.

“Oh, that explains the last name, Hannah Rodriguez. My wife needs me now ” Brandon said and then sighed before walking away.

Immediately he got outside, he saw Hannah standing outside his car.

“Thank goodness she hadn’t left” he muttered and then walked towards the car and stood in front of her.

“Hey, are you okay?” He asked but then Hannah didn’t say a word as she kept on sobbing.

“Is he your dad?” Brandon asked and Hannah nodded as she raised her head and stared at him.

Her eyes were so red.

“Oh my gosh,” he muttered and pulled her into a warm and comforting hug.

He pulled away from the hug when he heard Mr Daniel’s voice from behind. He turned and saw Daniel and his assistant.

“I just want to talk to you Hannah, please” he begged and Hannah scoffed as she wiped her tears.

” There’s nothing to talk about, Dad. Why am I even calling you dad, Mr Daniel” she said and the look on Daniel’s face fell.

“Please I can explain everything that happened,” he said and Hannah scoffed.

“Explain what? You fucking left me and Mom for dead and guess what she’s dead all because of you.

If you hadn’t abandoned us, she wouldn’t have died but you left. You fucking left when she needed you the most.

I hate you so much, I hate you and I will never forgive you for what you did” Hannah said as more tears slipped down her cheeks.

“Get me out of here Brandon,” Hannah said and Brandon nodded and opened the car door for her.

They both entered the car and zoomed off.

Daniel stood speechless while staring at the car till it was out of sight. Tears streamed down his cheeks.

“Are you okay sir?” His assistant Drake, asked and he nodded.

“Call the driver, I need to go home,” he said and Drake nodded and quickly called the driver to bring the car.

Meanwhile, a black car screeched to a halt in front of the Colby’s mansions.

Hannah alighted the car and walked inside the house in a rush, while she kept on wiping her tears. Seeing her father today had brought back all the memories she had tried to forget and left in the past.

Brandon sighed and alighted the car and walked inside the house.

“What’s wrong with your wife?” Lucas, who is seen climbing down the stairs asked and Brandon sighed.

“She saw her dad today. Turns out he was the client who we had wanted to meet up and discuss business with” Brandon said and Lucas raised his eyebrows and hummed.

“So, her crying is a tear of joy right?” Lucas asked.

“No, her father had abandoned her and her mother in the past who is dead now. May her soul rest in peace and seeing him had brought back those memories ” Brandon said and just then he heard his phone ring.

It was a call from the office.

He quickly answered the phone call.

“Sir, you need to come to the company now,” Liam said with a tone of urgency and then Brandon nodded and hung up.

He gave Lucas one last glance before walking away.

Lucas sighed and then rolled his eyes when he saw Lisa in the dining room staring at him. Mellisa was sitting close to her eating some snacks.

“Oh, look who’s eavesdropping” Lucas laughed as he moved towards her and then Lisa rolled her eyes and looked away from him.

“I have told you countless times, stop trying to seduce me with your looks. You are no longer my type of woman” Lucas said as she took the full plate of popcorn in front of her and walked away leaving her speechless.

“Mom,” Mellisa called, interrupting her speech and she rolled her eyes.

Lisa sighed and then stood up, going upstairs to her room but then she decided to go to Hannah’s room.

She stood in front of the door and took a deep breath.

She planted a soft knot on the door but then she heard Hannah’s voice, followed by a whimpering sound.

“Go away, Brandon? I need to be alone” she said and Lisa rolled her eyes and then opened the door and walked inside the room.

“I said go away, Brand…” Hannah paused as she raised her head and saw Lisa in the room.

“What are you doing here?” She asked and Lisa rolled her eyes as she stared at the room in admiration.

The room was so big and looked well decorated. She hummed as she stared at the decorations.

“What are you doing here Lisa? You should leave ” Hannah said as she frowned and Lisa scoffed and turned to her.
