Chapter 921
Rosalie felt very anxious as she looked worriedly at Vincent.
"Quick, tell me."
She looked at the first-aid kit filled with medication and tools. Although she felt scared, she had no choice but to take on the challenge given how critical things were right now.
Vincent trembled slightly as he asked Rosalie in a weak voice. "Are you scared?"
Rosalie nodded her head. Her heart was pounding as she started to tense up.
"Yes, I am, but I'll do it. Quick, tell me how."
Vincent went on in a weak voice, "Get a bottle of iodine solution and an alcoholic cotton ball. Soak the cotton ball with iodine solution and use it to wipe the skin area around the wound."
Rosalie followed Vincent's instructions very carefully as she twisted the iodine solution bottle open with trembling fingers.
The smell of the iodine solution made her head spin, but she suppressed her instinctive response and focused on the next step.
She carefully dipped the cotton ball into the bottle and carefully wiped the skin area around the wound with it. Her fingers kept shaking for fear that the wound might get reinfected if she did something wrong.
She could hear Vincent wincing from the pain that came from the wound coming into contact with the iodine.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
Rosalie's heart skipped a beat but her hands didn't stop. She continued carefully wiping the skin area around the wound to ensure it was thoroughly disinfected.
After this step was done, Rosalie asked cautiously, "Will this do? What's next?"
Vincent replied weakly, "Now, take a disinfectant needle from the left side of the first-aid kit and a bottle of sterile saline solution."
When Rosalie saw the needle, she couldn't help but think back on when she helped Vincent extract the bullet, her entire body shaking at that time. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down.
"Dip the needle into the saline solution to make sure it is completely disinfected," Vincent went on to instruct her.
Rosalie bit her lips. She carefully dipped the needle into the saline solution until it was completely disinfected. "What next?"
Vincent spoke in a low voice, "Carefully the needle into my wound. Please remain as calm as possible."
Rosalie's heart raced. She
swallowed hard and tried to calm her raging emotions. She held the needle with a trembling hand as she carefully inserted it into Vincent's wound.
Rosalie's face turned pale as sweat beaded on her brows.
She could feel Vincent's body trembling slightly and she asked anxiously, "Are you feeling alright?"
Vincent gritted his teeth and nodded to signal Rosalie to continue.
He said in a pained voice, "Twist the needle gently to disinfect the wound inside. And then..." He taught her step by-step what she should do.
Rosalie slowly twisted the needle with trembling fingers, swallowing past her constricted throat as she did so. Worry and doubt filled her eyes.
Each tiny movement made her catch her breath, anxious that she might accidentally hurt him. Blood kept oozing from the wound, but filth also followed as they seeped out of the wound.

Vincent's face twisted with agony and mixed feelings. As he stared at Rosalie, his vision clouded over as another woman's face blurred into Rosalie's.
"Youngie," he mumbled in a low voice, lost in his memories.
Rosalie looked up and noticed that Vincent wasn't in good shape. In fact, he looked as though he was hallucinating. She didn't correct him and instead, asked, "Am I doing it right?"
Rosalie's voice made Vincent snap back to attention. He said, "Yes. You can use more force and be more bold."
