Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 680

There was blood on the ground, and the air was eerily quiet.

Rosalie stumbled upon the pool of blood, and collapsed on the ground. "Where is he? Where is he?"NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.

Sebastian saw the blood on the ground, and his brows furrowed.

He had seen with his own eyes how Theodore was pierced through the chest with an arrow. He wasn't able to call for help in time, either. Where could Theodore be?

Under such circumstances, Theodore couldn't have left by himself. Did someone come to rescue him?

Uneasiness crept up Sebastian's heart. It would be terrible if Theodore were still alive!

Rosalie stood up, and ran toward Sebastian. She grabbed his collar and shrieked, "Where's Theo? Where is he? Where is he?"

"I don't know," Sebastian said. "He was here when I left to find you."

Rosalie was stunned when she heard Sebastian's words. She turned around, and stared at the pool of blood at her feet. "You mean, you left him here with such a terrible injury and did nothing for him?!"

Sebastian's heart leaped. “Rose, are you blaming me? I had to save you! I didn't have the capacity to care for Theodore!”

"No, you shouldn't have saved me! He was injured, and lost so much blood. How could you ignore him? How could you?!"

Rosalie collapsed on the ground, her body racked with sobs. She crawled toward the pool of blood and pressed her hands into it as tears streamed down her face.

Sebastian hurried over, wanting to help her up, but Rosalie shook him off. "Don't touch me! Leave! I don't want to see you!"

Sebastian clenched his fists as fury rose up in his chest. "Rosalie Young, you're too much!"

He forcefully hauled her up in his arms.

Rosalie struggled with all her might. "Let me go, you liar! You even lied to me that he was fine, and that he had left. Let me go!"

The blood on her hands ended up smeared on Sebastian's face, dying his face and clothes red.

"I'm not letting you go!" Sebastian

grabbed her arms. "You were kidnapped, and I was worried to death about you! I risked my life to save you, and that madman who abducted you might very well murder me too! When Theodore collapsed after getting injured, that madman asked me to look for you. He told me where you were, and I didn't even know if he was telling the truth. Yet, I went looking for you without any hesitation! That's because you were the only one I cared about. I might have been killed by that madman when I went

looking for you, too!

"Rose, you're way too cruel. You clearly know what's going on between Theodore and me. How could I possibly ignore you for his sake under such circumstances? Do you really think I could have done it? I'm no saint. I did this to save you, not him! How could you blame me for this?

"I know you don't care about your own safety and think that I should have saved Theodore, but from my perspective, you could have been injured by that pervert. How could I possibly give up on you to save Theodore?! Please think from my perspective, won't you?

"If you must blame me, I'd rather you chose Theodore and not me. I'd rather be the one who got injured. Would you then blame Theodore, in that case? I believe if I were the one who got injured and collapsed on the floor, Theodore certainly wouldn't have cared about me and rushed to find you. Rose, you can't blame me for this. I didn't cause him to be injured!"

Tears streamed down Sebastian's face as he gently folded Rosalie in his arms.

"I know you're angry. It's fine if you want to blame me, but you're the only one I care about. If I had to go through this again, I would save you without any hesitation.

"Rose, please consider things from my perspective, won't you? I took a huge risk coming to save you, too. I didn't know if that pervert would hurt you. I admit I don't care for Theodore, and only care for you. If you think that's wrong, I'd rather continue doing wrong like this!"

Rosalie shut her eyes miserably as tears continued trickling down her face. “Where's Theo?"

"I don't know," Sebastian said. “I

really don't know. He was still here when I left. had no choice but to go look for you at that time, because didn't know what else the pervert might do. Don't panic. Since he's not here, someone must have taken him away. Let's go home first and we'll slowly find him, okay? There's no point panicking here, anyway."

Sebastian's words calmed Rosalie down.

Theodore wasn't here right now, and there was no point in her staying here anyway. She didn't know where he was, and didn't even have any communication devices on her. She would have to go home first before she could find him.

Upon sensing her calm down, Sebastian relaxed his hold over Rosalie and cupped her face in his hands, wiping the tears from her face. "Let's go home. I'll help you find him once we get home."

"I must find him," Rosalie said hoarsely. Her lips were so dry and cracked, there were traces of blood on them. "Whether he's dead or alive." Sebastian brushed the stray hair away from her forehead. "Yes, I'll help you find him."
