CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1140

Nash placed the warm milk in front of Nina, watching as she drank it.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of it," Quincy assured. "But we can't just let them off without some kind of consequence."

Nash frowned slightly, thinking for a moment. "You're right. They need to be disciplined, enough to earn the respect of the employees. I trust you'll handle it well. I'm busy on my end, so let's leave it at that." After hanging up, Nash grabbed a napkin and gently wiped Nina's mouth, sneaking in a quick kiss.

Nina playfully rolled her eyes at him, but it was all in good humor. This had become their normal routine, and even Orion was shaking his head with a grin.

"What's wrong? Am I not allowed to be nice to my wife?" Nash teased, lightly tapping Orion on the head.

Orion laughed. "You are! I'm going to treat my wife just as well when I'm older!"

Hearing their young son talk about marriage and taking care of his future wife made them both chuckle.

As night fell, the city drifted into a sweet sleep.

Meanwhile, Quincy emerged from his room, rubbing his eyes. He had been buried in work until late and was looking forward to a refreshing shower before bed.

Just as he was enjoying the cold water, the bathroom door suddenly swung open, and Lydia rushed in with her head down.

"What the ?!" Quincy jumped, quickly grabbing a towel to cover himself.

Lydia, equally startled, let out a scream. "Pervert! Why didn't you lock the door?!"

"I should be asking you! Didn't you think to knock first?" Quincy shot back, irritated as water dripped down his face.

As he adjusted the towel, it slipped, exposing more than he intended.

Lydia shrieked again, covering her eyes. "Quincy, you pervert! You totally did that on purpose!"

Quincy, despite his initial anger, couldn't help but grin mischievously. "Relax, it's covered now. We're both adults. I'm sure it's not the

time

you've seen this."

Lydia dropped her hands, glaring at him. "Whether I have or not is none of your business!"

But before she could finish her sentence, Quincy suddenly dropped the towel again, making her bolt out of the bathroom in a panic.

"Quincy, you're such a jerk!" she shouted from the other room.

Quincy, instead of getting angry, found himself oddly amused. Maybe sharing this suite wasn't so bad after all.

When he finally got into bed, sleep eluded him. Images of Lydia's flustered reaction kept replaying in his mind, and he couldn't help but smile.

Lydia, on the other hand, was having

a hard time falling asleep too. She kept thinking about Quincy's playful smirk, and the more she thought

about it, the redder her face became.

The next morning, Lydia, still groggy from a lack of sleep, bumped into Quincy as she left her room. She immediately put on a stern face and walked past him without a word.

Quincy caught up to her. "Heading out for breakfast? I found a local spot with some great dishes. I bet you'll love it."

Lydia scoffed, 'In your dreams!' Then she quickly added, 'I mean, my tastes are pretty picky. Don't think some local food is going to impress me.""Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

"Sure, sure. But how about we give it a try, Miss Fay?" Quincy said with a grin, reaching out to her.

Lydia dodged his hand, awkwardly scratching her head. "Lead the way."

Quincy smiled and started walking ahead. Lydia waited until he was a little further before following.

The local breakfast spot Quincy had in mind was a tiny place, just a few square feet in size, but it was packed with customers. They joined the long line, only to have a young guy cut in front of them.

"Hey, you..." Lydia started to protest but then thought better of it.

They weren't in Birkham anymore, and it was better to avoid unnecessary trouble.
