Brianna’s POV

It’s like Italy put a stop to the nice relationship I and Diego had. The moment we arrived here everything changed. I feel he’s doing it purposely. The baby adding to it.

Diego hasn’t been himself since the day he found out that I carry his heir.

He’s trying his best to take care of me but I know it’s not true. I feel his just concerned about the child.

And it’s the best decision to make so it would be easier for us to let each other go when the time is right.

It’s been two week, two great weeks of what I really don’t understand. I just feel like the more I try to understand, the more I get lost.

I am getting tired of sitting down at home all day because am pregnant.

His child is healthy and so am I. It’s fustrating and it’s making feel useless.

I told mom and dad I was going to make it big before I get back. Although Diego is paying me big time for this, I still can’t sit around and do nothing.

I dragged my feet sluggishly out of the bathroom. I watched for some seconds as Diego buttoned his collar, pushing myself towards him, I stood right in front of him then took my hands to his neck and helped him button it.

“Your tie isn’t matching”I echoed taking the tie from the bed. I walked into the closet and looked for a more preferable one. I picked an ash tie and walked out of the closet with it. I wasted no time in helping him knot the tie.

When I was done, I arranged his suit properly on him then looked at him.

“You look amazing”I muttered with this very big smile hung on my face.

“I know that smile Bri! What do you want?”he asked and I pouted and pushed my body further to him, I rested my head on his chest then he wrapped his hand around my waist.

“I’m tired of staying in the house all day long”I made sure my words were in whisperers.

“You can go on a walk with Hilda, the guards will accompany you too”

“I don’t want that”

“You can go to the ladies party, it’s for expectant mom’s”

“I don’t want that either”my head was still laid camly on his chest”

“Then what do you want?”he asked.

“Work, I want to work Diego” I took my head off his chest.

“What nonsense! Never ! don’t even think about it, you’ll stress yourself and our baby”

“Your baby”I corrected and he frowned.

“It’s our baby and your not working”

“I won’t get stressed I promise, staying home is making me tired and weak”

“No wify. Your not working and that’s final”he snapped at me and suddenly this urge to cry hit me so hard, I bit my lower lips trying my best to hold it in, I blink several times making little sniffs.

“Gosh! Anna am sorry for yelling, it’s just I can’t let you stress yourself”

“But I won’t stress I promise”I cried more.

“Beside Anna, my company doesn’t have a positions opened right now and I won’t let you work for another company”

“What ever position will do Dee”

“Your not working Anna that’s final. Please take care of yourself”he kissed my forehead then began walking out.

“Am fucking going to run away from home if you don’t let me work”

He turned to me with a smirk on his face.

“I dare you, run!”

“I hate you, your so mean”

“Your welcome”

“Your not touching me this night and more nights to come”I yelled angrily. The aggurment was becoming heated for me but it felt like a joke to him.

“There are much girls out there that need my touch and for the love of God I know the woman I’m married to, you’ll be the one to start touching me”.

“Ha! Your going to….. You disgust me” I bluffed.

“I’ll tell granny”

“I’ll help you”he replied walking towards me, Diego took his hand to his pocket bringing out his phone, he made some tap on his phone and the next minute it was ringing out loud.

The man is fucking calling granny.

“Hey Diego how are you?”her voice startled me.

“Am fine Granny”

“And my daughter in law, how is my Grandson doing?” she asked

“They’re fine, as a matter of fact, Anna here is planning on working, she said she wants to go back to work”he explained to her with his annoying glare on me.

“No! No no! That is not a good idea, she shouldn’t even think about it, does she want to stress herself and my grandchild?”her older woman’s voice echoed from the end of the line.

“But Grams, I’ll be fine. Am a strong lady”

“No ifs and buts young lady. Don’t think about it”her voice was so inferioriting.

The moment the call was put to an end Diego realised a huge laughter.

“I hate you so much Diego”I stamped my feet hard on the floor.

Diego’s POV

Making Anna very angry sent joy to me, I love the way she begs when she needs something and the way she gets angry easily, it’s all her pregnancy hormones. Although she was like that even before she got pregnant but now it’s worst.

I laughed hard and waved at her before walking out of the room.

My work is gently keeping me away from Anna, I go to work earlier and come back late.

Actually this has always been my life but a little bit has changed because normally when am back from work I get changed and go to the club or bar that’s where I spend my night, drinking and having girls all around me.

But these days, I spend my entire night with Anna.

I checked the time on my wrist watch and smiled.

I waisted no time, in few minutes I was out of the building heading to my car.

When I got home, I headed straight to my room and guessing right, this is Anna’s bath time she should be in bath right now

Pushing the door of my room open, I walked in. Anna wasn’t in the room and the shower was on so my guess was right, Anna is bathing.

I hurriedly took my clothes off my body and walked into the bathroom

There she was standing naked under the shower.
