Chapter 1468 Presiding Over the Situation 1
"You think he's still got it in him, but falling from heaven to hell is a whole different ballgame. That kind of emotional whiplash is tough for anyone to handle."
"And his mom did a lot of bad stuff. The rest of the Clemens family probably won't be too kind to him. Some might even give him a hard time, insult him."
"He used to have it all, everyone adored him. Then his life flipped upside down. It's not crazy to think he couldn't handle it and his personality took a nosedive."
Sadie analyzed carefully.
"You're right," Rylan nodded repeatedly. "But I still think he's not that sharp."
"Don't underestimate him," Sadie frowned. "Alan might seem like a playboy, but he's got Clemens blood. He can't be that dumb."
"He was unambitious and lazy because he had no pressure. But when people are pushed to the edge, they can get smart real quick. Look at me, isn't that what happened?"
Rylan was taken aback for a moment and quickly said, "Yeah, I'll go check right away." Sadie sighed and was about to head to the hospital.
As she turned, she saw the three little girls peeking from behind the door, looking at her anxiously.
"Mary, Emma, Donna, what's up?" Sadie took a deep breath, put on a smile, and walked over.
"I've been so busy these past few days, I haven't had time to spend with you. I'm sorry. Once I'm done..."
"Aunt Sadie, don't be scared," Mary reached out her little hand and gently touched Sadie's face, comforting her in a sweet childlike voice. "Uncle Micah and Mia will get better!"
Hearing this, Sadie couldn't hold back anymore, and tears streamed down her face. She had been trying so hard to control herself, not to cry, not to think about those things. But Mary's words instantly broke her down.
"Aunt Sadie, don't cry," Emma quickly used her small hands to wipe Sadie's tears, anxiously comforting her.
"We'll go find Daddy and have him help you teach those bad people a lesson!"

"No one is allowed to bully our aunt," Donna clenched her little fists, looking indignant. "Aunt Sadie, we'll protect you!"
Sadie was deeply moved and hugged the three children tightly.
She thought they were too young to understand anything, but they knew everything.
They knew bad people had burned down Micah's house, leaving Micah's fate uncertain, Mia and Andrew in a coma, and the handsome Uriah dead in the fire. So, they came to comfort Sadie.
Sadie's tears kept flowing, but she tried hard to control her emotions, forcing a smile and saying to the kids, "You've all grown up. You're speaking so clearly now!"
The three little girls blushed, scratching their little heads in embarrassment.
"Alright, my darlings, I need to go to the hospital to see Andrew and Mia. Be good and stay home, okay?"
Sadie gently pinched their cheeks.
"Okay, Aunt Sadie," Mary, Emma, and Donna nodded obediently.
Sadie hugged them, put on her coat, and left hurriedly with Annika and the others.
As the car drove away, they encountered a car from the Graham family on the winding mountain road.noveldrama
"What is she doing here?"
Annika frowned. This was the last thing they needed right now.
Olivia got out of the car and rushed over to knock on the window.
Sadie rolled down the window and looked at her coolly. "Ms. Graham, is there something you need?"
"What happened? Mr. Clemens, he..." Olivia was really anxious, her voice trembling as she mentioned Micah's name. "What happened to him?"
What do you think?
