“Nic, I’m sorry, I can’t-” Rebecca pulled away as Nicholas’s hand started to move up her thigh. Nicholas looked at her with disappointment, as if her rejection deeply hurt
him.
They sat in silence for a moment until a hotel security guard knocked on the car
window and asked if they were planning to drop off or park. Rebecca turned to look at Nicholas, who was staring blankly at the steering wheel. “I’m sorry, Nic, but I think I have to-” she pointed her finger at the hotel entrance.
Nicholas nodded. “No worries, love will find its way! In the end, you’ll realize that not one loves you more than I do! So, good night, Becky!” he interrupted, not looking at Rebecca at all.
Despite being confused by Nicholas’s reaction, Rebecca nodded twice and quickly opened the car door to get out. “Wait! I’ll walk you to the elevator!” Nicholas suddenly called out. He jumped out and handed his car keys to the valet.
“You don’t have to, it’s late, just go home,” Rebecca said, feeling uncomfortable with Nicholas’s increasingly strange behavior.
Nicholas grinned coldly. “I’m afraid I have to he replied, taking Rebecca’s hand and causing her to shiver. “Nic, what are you doing?”
“Let her go! She’s uncomfortable with that!” hissed a voice from behind them. Rebecca and Nicholas turned to see Harvey Specter standing with his hands in his pockets.
Rebecca’s stomach dropped. She swallowed nervously. On one hand, she wanted to pull her hand away from Nicholas, but on the other, she didn’t want to appear weak in front of her ex–husband who had abandoned her. As her instincts urged her to pull her hand away from Nicholas, he tightened his grip until Rebecca’s knuckles ached.
“Harvey Specter! So you’re the hero now? Sorry, but Becky doesn’t need you! Isn’t that right, babe?” Nicholas turned to Rebecca with a meaningful look.
Rebecca looked back at Harvey and felt her heart pound. ‘Don’t be stupid, Becky! He abandoned you for that evil woman, don’t be swayed by his fake kindness!‘ a voice in her head scolded her.

realizing that Rebecca was more than just an accessory in his life. His chest ached as he faced the reality that he might lose her forever.
“You can let go of my hand now,” Rebecca hissed at Nicholas when they reached the clevator, and Harvey was far behind.
Before Nicholas could release her, the elevator doors dinged open and Alicia Fox stepped out with her two assistants. She smirked upon seeing Rebecca and Nicholas holding hands.
“Such a sweet couple!” she exclaimed annoyingly. She stopped right in front of Rebecca. “See? Don’t get too caught up in playing the victim. I mean, you’re even enjoying all this, aren’t you? Turns out you’re more hypocritical than I thought!”
“Just shut your mouth!” Nicholas snapped angrily.
Alicia chuckled. “Whatever, I don’t have time for this! My fiancé is waiting for me in the lobby, bye!”
Rebecca felt a surge of electricity through her body. She couldn’t deny the overwhelming jealousy that pierced through her.
“Nic, I’m so tired, good night!” She yanked her hand free from Nicholas’s grip, stepped into the elevator, and pressed the button for her floor, leaving him alone.
“Oh, shit! What is wrong with me?” Rebecca muttered as she opened her hotel room door, which suddenly felt larger because she was alone. She took off her shoes and slipped out of her Arnault Saverio gown, curling up under the blanket in only the satin pajamas she found in the closet.
She felt frustrated with herself for losing focus after her encounter with Harvey. Even his words,
‘Becky, where have you been? I’ve missed you so much,‘ kept haunting her, causing her to feel strange sensations she didn’t think she could feel after what Harvey and Alicia had done to her.
That night, without removing her makeup, she fell asleep and had an erotic dream about Harvey that made her heart race when she woke up the next morning.
“Morning! How was your sleep?” greeted a member of the glam team from Arnault Saverio named Dave, who was there to do her hair and outfit.

Rebecca’s checks flushed instantly because the question reminded her of her erotic dream about Harvey last night. She cleared her throat softly, “Yeah, not bad.”
“You know there was quite a commotion in the lobby last night,” murmured Dave, glancing at Rebecca meaningfully.
Rebecca frowned, “Really? What happened?”
Dave cleared his throat. “I watched the news about you, I mean, you, Alicia Fox, and your ex–husband-‘
“So what?” Rebecca looked at Dave, raising one eyebrow.
“Well, they, I mean, Alicia and your ex–husband had a big fight last night. Um, not a fight, more like Alicia had a meltdown and cried, she even threatened to hurt herself,” Dave said dramatically.
Rebecca frowned, quickly searching for the news online but finding nothing. Dave laughed, “You really think the internet would cover it? Becky, everything that happens in this hotel area is confidential, so don’t expect any juicy gossip about last night,” he said while taking out the dress Rebecca was going to wear from the suitcase.
Rebecca was taken aback, agreeing with Dave. “Do you know why Alicia Fox freaked out last night?” she asked cautiously, trying not to sound too curious even though she was sure Dave was on her side.
Dave shook his head. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
“I was a bit tipsy last night, so I couldn’t hear everything clearly. But I do remember Harvey Specter saying, ‘I won’t forgive you if I find out she was right.”
Well, I’m not sure who ‘she‘ is supposed to be, but it couldn’t be you, right?”
Rebecca shivered instantly.
