He said as he stormed out of the bar, and at that moment I couldn’t ascertain what was going on, I didn’t know if it was Nicole or the interview letter I received, or when I bumped into the handsome man, or when I threw up on the handsome man, or when he told me I would pay dearly for what I did to him.

“Oh my gosh, life is so unfair,” I whispered to myself as I sat on the tiled floor near the counter.

I have always wanted this job, but now that I got the interview, I don’t know why I was scared and feeling so sick.

” Oh, Christina,” I said as I simultaneously used my hands to hit my head over and over again.

“I forgot this was the effect of the drink I had moments ago,” I said to myself as I managed to get up and staggered out of the bar as I thought about Nicole. I just couldn’t leave her here, and she brought me here, it would be so rude to go without her.

After arguing with myself about my thoughts, I finally concluded that she would be fine wherever she was at the moment.

All I wanted right now was to go home, take a shower, and prepare for my interview the next day. I brought out my phone and placed an order for the next Uber to pick me up.

I was so tired.

I stared at her as she ran out of the bar, I guess she was talking to a young lady about something, she was also drunk from my point of view, I could read her mouth movement, she said something and ran out of the bar with her hands on her mouth, I assumed she went to throw up so I quietly followed her.

I don’t know why I had the guts to do so, but my mind was pushing me toward her, not after I had been stalking her since last week.

“Hey bitch, can’t you see you pushed me?” a guy shouted at her, but she didn’t respond to him.

“Richard, we don’t need to talk too much, let’s teach her a lesson.” The huge guy said as he turned her around so she could face him, then he pushed her down.

I just had to silently watch what was going on, but the moment that nerd pushed her down, I felt a rage boiling inside of me and the urge to get down there and mercilessly deal with those damn guys.

I could see her on her knees as she faced the ground. I then got up to go down where this awful treatment was taking place, and what I saw left me blindfolded for some minutes.

The young lady who appeared to be weak in my perspective was not weak, I would say she was a lion in the body of a lioness.

I saw how she threw those punches at the guy who pushed her, and when the other guy came to intervene, she landed him a hot, resounding slap on his cheek. Not only that, she threw him some punches and kicks, as well as some blood, which started gushing out of the guy’s mouth.

At that moment, I got scared of her as I tried my best to summon the courage to go help her out.

“Hey, are you okay?” I asked her as I stretched my hand towards her.

She smiled and said

“Oh Mr. Handsome, do you want me to show you how frustrated I am?”

I don’t think I went through her statement, but I knew I gave her a straight answer.

“Sure, you can tell me anything,” I answered her.

“Okay, but don’t blame me afterward,” she said as she threw several punches and slaps in my face.

I was red and captivated. I tried to figure out why she did that until she said

“Wow, that feels so good, I didn’t get enough when I hit those guys earlier,” she said with a blank face, and then she fainted. I was so lucky I got hold of her before she reached the floor.

I carefully carried her and put her in my car as I stared at her angelic face as her hair covered parts of it.

I smiled as I carefully put her in order, then zoomed off.

I stretched out my hands toward the alarm and away from it as I lay down to continue my sleep.

Suddenly yesterday’s incident came flashing back in my memory, starting from when I and Nicole went to the bar to when I threw up on the handsome man.

I sprung up from the bed and looked at the alarm. “Fuck, it was already 6:15 am and I was still in bed.”

I was still feeling dizzy as a result of the hangover. I sat down on the couch as I turned on the TV, and I hoped my hangover calmed down before I got to the interview. I still had about an hour or so.

I turned on the radio, and a particular headline got my attention, so I increased the volume to hear it clearer.
