The following day, Drake Bell followed Amelia to the mall as agreed. He was to buy a wedding gown for her and a wedding ring. On arriving inside the room that houses all sort of beautiful and expensive wedding gowns, Amelia, who was all smiles could be seen looking greedily at all the wedding gowns present there.

She took two steps forward to start checking the wedding gown out but suddenly realized that Drake Bell stood rooted to the spot. She turned to him and said, “Drake, please come with me.”

“Go and pick what you want and let me know when you are done,” Drake Bell said coldly. He just had to follow her here for the sake of his mother. His mum had made him promise her that he would take Amelia to the mall to get her wedding gown and wedding ring. If not for his mother, he definitely would not be here.

Amelia’s mood fell flat but she quickly cheered up, she shouldn’t be surprised at his reaction since he doesn’t even have feelings for her. “erm… we can take a picture, right?” She asked.

“I don’t have much time, be quick with whatever you want to do here,” Drake Bell said.

Amelia took that as a yes and took a selfie with him, she posted it on her Instagram page with the caption, “my hubby @dr akebell took me out to get a wedding dress and a wedding ring. Can’t wait for my wedding day. Thanks my love.”

Afterwards, she began to walk around the mall in an attempt to select a wedding gown, at the end, she was able to find the one she likes. Taking the wedding gown to Drake Bell and asked what he thinks is definitely not an option. She soon went to the engagement ring section and picked the one she thinks was the most beautiful.

Afterwards, she pushed the cart containing what she had selected to Drake Bell, “I have selected them, Drake. Do you mind checking it out?”

“No.” Drake Bell said and began to walk towards where they would pay. All of a sudden, Drake Bell paused when she saw a familiar figure examining a wedding dress.

Took a while before she processed whom the person is, “Lily?”

Lily turned and saw Drake Bell with Amelia. But before Lily could turn back, Amelia had quickly rested on Drake Bell’s shoulder.

“Hi, Mr. Drake Bell,” Lily greeted and turned back, she then continued checking the wedding gowns.

I wonder why this bitch is here, Amelia thought angrily.

Drake Bell looked at Amelia who was resting comfortably on his shoulder as if they were lovers, “take a distance.” He said but Amelia suddenly hugged him tight and moaned, “Drake Bell, be gentle, you can’t blame me for being faithful to our love since we were young.”

Lily glanced at them and walked a distance away from them.

“Caution yourself,” Drake Bell pushed Amelia away carefully then walked quickly to Lily, absolutely ignoring Amelia. Amelia could feel her nails digging deep inside her palm, she was so enraged. She believed that Lily had come here on purpose to ruin this hangout with Drake Bell.

“Lily, why did you need a wedding gown?” Drake Bell asked, standing right behind her.

Lily turned to him and spoke to him like a stranger, “excuse me!”

“Lily, you heard me.” His voice was a little tough. Was Lily planning a wedding behind him?

“Please stop acting like you own me or like you are my father or something,” Lily rebuked with a frown. She didn’t like the tone of voice at which he spoke to her.

“You can’t get into any marriage while I’m alive, Lily.” Drake Bell said seriously. His heart was aching at the thought of her getting married to someone else.

“We’ll see,” Lily ignored him and continued examining the wedding gowns.

He suddenly grabbed her by the shoulder and slammed her to the glass that protected the wedding gowns that were being sold. Lily felt her backbone ache terribly, she raised her hand and slapped him at once, “Drake Bell, what in the world is wrong with you?” Her voice was very loud. Even she can not believe that she can dare to slap him but he was acting too much.

As if he didn’t feel the pain, he stopped her from escaping his sight and collapsed his huge body on hers then bury his face on her shoulder. No matter how Lily tried to push him, it was impossible.

“Someone help!” Lily screamed angrily. He didn’t like how he was trying to harass her in public.

“No one will dare to!” Drake Bell whispered into her ears, “Lily, will you really never forgive me?”

Lily suddenly sighted Amelia who was staring at them with anger and rage on her face. Amelia had this murderous look on her face and it kind of give Lily a sense of satisfaction so she intentionally stopped struggling and called, “Drake Bell…”

“Yes… my woman,” Drake Bell answered, still not giving the tinest space between their body, they could both feel the rate at which their heart was beating.

“She’s not your woman,” a male voice suddenly spoke and appeared. Drake Bell turned at once and was stunned to see Alexander.

Alexander added, “She’s mine!”

Lily furrowed her brow in shock. She had wanted to explain that she was here to examine the new designs of wedding dress so she can get more familiar to the trending designs. She has a project at hand that requires her to design a wedding dress for a royal family. But Drake Bell misunderstood and here he is, acting like an obsessed psycho.

Drake Bell smirked, “two months ago when I called you on phone and asked if you really wanted to marry Lily, guess what you said? You said ‘yes’ and that she’s yours but future events proves that she’s just your secretary. I guess she’s using you to make me feel jealous, right?”

Alexander Bell walked up to Lily and held her by the right hand then he kissed the back of her palm gentlemanly, “sweetheart, have you selected the wedding gown? Let me pay so we can leave this toxic man here.”

Lily was dumbfounded. She didn’t know what to say but then, remembering how Drake Bell valued Lily over her, that was many years ago when she was married to him. One of those days, she got into an accident but so was Lily too, they were both at the hospital and their beds was just beide eachother but when Drake Bell came around, he ignored her like she was not even his wife and began to care in an adorable manner to Lily. She cried her eyes out that day.

Lily then played along with Alexander Bell and said, “well… I haven’t found any dress I like here, perhaps, we should check the other section.”

Alexander Bell smiled and gestured for her to lead the way.

Drake Bell almost went crazy. Is their relationship really real? He watched as Alexander Bell and Lily walked away like the cutest couple ever.

Once Lily and Alexander Bell were alone in the second section of the wedding gown room, Lily quickly corrected, “sir, I had to act along with you just to get rid of Drake Bell. I’ll like to emphasize that there is nothing between us.”

Alexander replied, “you are wrong.” He added, “From the first day you proposed to me before Drake Bell’s office, you have initiated a relationship.”

“Sir…”

“It’s okay, take your time. I’m not rushing. But overtime, you will realize I’m capable of being a father to your kids and most importantly, we seem compatible enough to live together and have a happy ever after,” Alexander Bell spoke boldly. He hasn’t figured out his feelings towards her but he is beginning to think about her often lately and he can’t seem to help it. He thinks about her smiles, the way she talks, she way she walks and many more.

“Life has been tough for you, Lily. All your years had been a lonely road, you aren’t even lucky to find a husband who will love you in good times and bad times,” he added, “see how lean and feeble you are? At the end, you will begin to realize you need a man who can love you truly. Who can give you the peace you deserve and make you happy always. Not just you, your kids alongside.”

He said in conclusion, “that kind of man is not farfetched, he’s standing right before you.”

Lily listened with a throbbing heart, was he proposing to her now? Asking her to consider him, huh?

Lily breathed in deeply and after letting it out, she gave up and let him lead her outside. Drake Bell who was standing by the door watched as Alexander Bell lead Lily inside the car, afterwards, Lily drove off.

“So these two are really planning to get married?” Drake Bell mumbled. “I’ll stop it!” At once, he texted his grandfather, Lord Bell, telling him he was coming to see him right away.
