Billionaire’s Pampered Wife

Chapter 93 Are You Trying To Reach The Sky?

“I won’t ejaculate in you. Don’t take those pills anymore. It hurts your body. If you get pregnant, I will marry you anyway. We will keep the child.” Jasper Milton said firmly and kissed her again and again.

Stella Grace was very wary of this. “Then we’ll have to wait until we get married to have a child.”

“Okay.” Jasper understood her stubbornness. For her sake, he picked up the condom from the bedside table.

Stella was moved by his consideration.

She felt rather emotional, and clutched on to his waist, pulling him over to her.

Jasper was not a person who only cared about his own enjoyment. He locked on to her every expression and appreciated every little bit of detail. After everything, he kissed her lips tenderly. He was so warm that she almost drowned in his tenderness.

Early the next morning.

They all got up and had breakfast in the restaurant next door.

“Chief, I went to steal the information regarding Tavers Village yesterday. Tavers Village has 108 people indeed.” Jimmy Fellow reported.

“Either the deaths were faked, or there may be someone else there who is not from Tavers Village. Since we already know that there are still people living in Tavers Village, let’s go to the village after breakfast. Let’s see what’s going on first.” Jasper said.

After breakfast, they set off and drove until the end of the road, then they continued on foot.

Jimmy and Jasper each carried a large backpack, while Stella carried her own smaller one.

She happened to be wearing a pair of running shoes and could keep up with their pace.

After a while, there was no road ahead. A huge mountain blocked their way forward.

Jasper looked at the map again.

“What’s wrong?” Stella asked worriedly.

Jasper frowned. “There’s no mountain on the map.”

“If the Zes administration can make a fake map, then there’s nothing that can’t be faked here.” Stella said helplessly.

“I’ll climb over this mountain and have a look.” Jasper turned to look at Stella. “Stella, you go to the car with Jimmy first. I’ll go alone to look around.”

“Don’t worry about me. I’m a member of the mountaineering team! Although I can’t compare to you, but there’s no problem for me to hike this.” Stella wanted to fight along side him.

“Okay, let’s go together then.”

The mountain was higher than they expected. After climbing over the first peak, there was another peak ahead.

After climbing three peaks in one breath, they finally saw the small village located in the midst of the mountains.

“Is that Tavers Village?” Stella looked at the village, it was quite close to them now.

“I don’t know. There is no village on the map here. Let’s go and have a look.” Jasper said in a low voice.

The three of them descended from the mountains.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

“This village is really isolated from the outside world. Others can’t get in, but it’s also difficult for people in the village to get out. If the village is really infected with some virus, it won’t really get transmitted outside.” Stella looked around and said.

Jasper happened to stepp on a wooden plank, which had begun to crumble.

The words “Tavers Village” could be vaguely seen on the broken plank.

“We found it!” Jasper looked around.

Due to the fact that no one had worked the fields for a long time, it was overgrown with weeds.

Even the corners of the houses were covered with grass, and the whole village was eerily quiet.

“I really don’t know what kind of people are there in this village. Where are the 108 villagers buried?” Jimmy asked doubtfully.

Stella pointed at the foot of the mountain.

Jimmy looked at the direction pointed by Stella.

“They don’t have personal graves. They may have just dug a big hole, and then put fire and gasoline in it. The 108 people should be buried together, and there would not even be a tombstone.” Stella explained sadly.

“How do you know that it’s buried at the foot of the mountain?” Jimmy asked in confusion.

“It’s common sense. This village is surrounded by mountains.

If the 108 villagers had committed suicide together, those responsible for burying them had to do it in the most efficient manner. However, they would be worried that the 108 villagers may be angered in the afterlife with such a menial burial, so they would probably choose a more scenic or beautiful spot.

At the foot of the mountain there, you can see the lake before you and the mountains behind you. There is also ample space and no crop fields there.” Stella pointed to that area. “The grave should be there.”

Jimmy felt a chill run down his spine.

There was a sudden creaking sound.

He shivered and watched Jasper go into a house.

“Chief, let me know when you open doors. It’s too frightening.” Jimmy followed Jasper into the room.

The smell of mildew indicated that the house had been deserted for a long time. There was a gloomy and horrible feeling about the whole place.

Stella looked at the table.

There was a pot of tea and several teacups on the table. One of the teacups was filled with water.

Jimmy was very afraid, his pupils dilated. He pointed to the cup on the table and said, “How can there be water in such a small cup? This little bit of water would be have evaporated in a week. Surely, it’s a ghosts.”

Stella remembered the story of the Ghost Ship.

There were many ships floating on the sea, and the hull looked broken and rotten, as if the ship had been floating for hundreds of years.

However, when the sailor boarded the boat, he found that there was a cup of coffee that had just been served. The coffee was steaming hot, meaning that the ghosts of the crew were still there.

Everyone then said that it was a ghost ship.

This village was giving off the same eerie vibe.

Jasper opened the lid of the kettle and found that there was water in it.

“Jimmy, go to the kitchen to see if there is any food!” Jasper ordered.

He and Stella walked into the bedroom.

There was a quilt on the bed.

The quilt was folded neatly.

Jasper then found a strand long hair on the pillow.

Jimmy rushed in, his expression ashen. He said, “There is food in the kitchen! Bread, flour and sugar! There must be ghosts.”

“Jimmy, calm down. It’s not a ghost, but someone lives here, and it’s a woman.” Jasper explained calmly.

“I think that’s why the locals have said that they have seen a ghost here!” Stella agreed with Jasper.

“How do you know who it is? Maybe it’s really a ghost. This place is so dilapidated. Who would live here?” Jimmy said doubtfully.

“There is no development here, and the road is still a dirt path. Besides, no one comes over, so the footprints on the ground should be very clear. If it’s a ghost, he must have no feet.”

After Jasper’s analysis, Jimmy found that there were a lot of small footprints on the ground.

“Jimmy, go to the grave to see if there are any clues. Be careful,” Jasper said.

“Yes.” Jimmy went to the lake with a pale face.

He was a special-forces soldier, so he couldn’t say that he didn’t dare to do that.

Jasper and Stella were checking more details in the room.

Suddenly, a ray of light flashed in Jasper’s eyes. He opened the window in alert, and a woman flashed by.

Jasper’s pupils dilated, shock and sharpness flashed through his eyes. Without thinking, he jumped out of the window.

Stella ran to the window and watched Jasper disappear from her sight.

What on earth did he see?
