Billionaire’s Pampered Wife

Chapter 703 I Like It, I Won’t Dislike It Anymore

Suzi heaved a sigh of relief after making the phone call. She told Stella, “Fortunately, the doctor had advised her accordingly and she didn’t eat it. Elvis was the one who finished it. They are pretty close these days, I think that they are quite compatible.”

“Yeah,” Stella replied softly. “Mom, let me help you bring out the dishes.”

She then entered the kitchen with Suzi.

Suzi had made some pork ribs and fresh fish soup, which were Jasper’s favorite. She also made some meatball lasagna and salad.

“Mom, you’ve made so much, I’ll get fat really easily like this,” Stella joked.

Bellamy wanted to say that he would still like her even if she was fat. However, he remembered Stella’s reminder of how Jasper was usually a reserved person, so he did not say anything in the end.

Suzi put her arm around Stella’s shoulder. “If Jasper dares dislike you, I will hit him.”

Stella laughed.

She missed Jasper, she really did.

As she laughed, her eyes turned red.

She lowered her eyes, trying to hide the emotions in her eyes with her long eyelashes so that it would go unnoticed.

The three of them sat at the table and ate a delicious dinner together.

Suzi looked at Bellamy, and then at Stella. “Have you two decided on leaving this place?”

Bellamy did not say anything and he turned to look at Stella.

Stella shook her head. If Jasper was here, she would not go anywhere.

“I thought about leaving in the past, not because I had high expectations for the outside world, but because I wanted to hide from Christian and Quinn. I wanted to hide from the people who would harm us. But now, Christian is dead, and Quinn is going to be arrested, so we are safe. After all, my friends, family, and memories are all here. We won’t leave anymore,” Stella said.

Bellamy held Stella’s hand.

She did not withdraw her hand because Suzi was in front of them. Even so, she did not look at Bellamy.

“It’s a good thing that you aren’t leaving. Here I was, wondering where you would go if you were to leave. I kept thinking about it, and there seems to be nowhere that I could think of. In truth, home is where the heart is. You could still visit those other places during vacation. Otherwise, we would lose our way easily,” Suzi said happily.

“That’s right. With a home, we will always find our way,” Stella withdrew her hand from Bellamy hastily and went to get more soup.

Bellamy immediately helped her get a ladle and fill her bowl with soup.

He also filled a bowl of soup for Suzi.

Suzi looked at Bellamy happily. “After experiencing so much, Jasper has finally learned to care for others. Very good, very good.”

Bellamy imitated Jasper’s nonchalance. “Yeah,” he said.

Suzi took the plates to the kitchen after the meal. Bellamy went out of the door and called Elvis. “Do we have a suitable maid in our midst?”

“No, the Dark Shadow only has one woman, and that is Lynette. We have not searched for another maid ever since Lynette’s accident. We are worried that if we were to look for one and place her in the villa without proper vetting, she will pose a threat to Mrs. Milton,” Elvis explained.

“I see. I will send one of my people here tomorrow to take care of the chores in the manor. You don’t have to worry about my people,” Bellamy said.

“Of course. Chief, there’s something I should let you know too. The Dark Shadow will come back to work tomorrow. Should we hide your identity, or should we let them know?” Elvis asked.

“Tell them the truth. Once the lie is exposed, it will be a different story. But, we mustn’t let Suzi know about it for the time being. I don’t want her to be sad,” Bellamy explained.

“Okay, I understand,” Elvis hung up the phone.

Bellamy turned around.

Stella was behind him.

“Let’s go out for a walk. I have something to ask you,” Stella said.

“Give me a moment,” Bellamy took Stella’s jacket and wrapped it around her body. He reminded her, “It is very cold outside. Don’t catch a cold.”

“Okay,” Stella tidied up her clothes before walking out of the room.

The moon was visible in the dark sky, along with a few scattered stars. When the wind blew, it brought with it a coolness which made their thinking much clearer. It was indeed refreshing.

“I remember that you were searching for something when you first appeared. What were you looking for?” Stella asked him.

“A photo. It was a photo of me and Jasper when we were born. I gave it to Steven when I looked for him at that time, but I couldn’t find it. Perhaps he already burned it,” Bellamy explained.

“So you have already contacted Jasper’s father?” Stella was surprised.

“Yes, when Jasper left the military base and became a businessman, I contacted his adopted father and told him that I was Jasper’s twin brother,” Bellamy told her everything.

This was something that Stella did not expect, “Were you the reason behind Jasper’s adopted father moving here?”

“That’s right, because there is a secret passage in the villa. Even if I had contact with him, no one would know.”

“So, Jasper’s adopted father was the one that gave you the map of the secret passages,” she guessed.

“That’s right, we have been planning this all along. Me being able to become the Secretary of External Affairs has a lot to do with Steven’s plans,” Bellamy explained.

“But, when Jasper’s father was on the verge of death, he still didn’t mention anything about you,” Stella asked curiously, “Why is that?”

“I think that there are several possibilities. Firstly, Steven was in poor health when Jasper came back, and he passed away before he could say it. Secondly, he thought that he would not gain anything from saying it, and that I would be in danger too. Hence, he decided against revealing it. The third possibility would be that he did say it, but Jasper just didn’t tell you about it,” Bellamy analyzed.

Stella took a deep breath. She seemed to have understood. “Actually, you don’t know where Dante is, right?”

“I don’t, but Anthony knows. So, it would be easy for you to find Dante.”

Stella shook her head. She was afraid that her determination would be shattered after seeing Dante. “Dante is happy with his adoptive parents. I will always be his mother, but I don’t want him to feel bad now.”

“That is the right decision to make,” Bellamy agreed.

Stella did not say anything. She stepped on the dead branches that made a rustling sound, it made her feel even lonelier.Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

She was afraid of this loneliness and it felt as though it was suffocating her. She asked, “Bellamy, are you married to Tinley?”

“No, Tinley is actually Samuel’s illegitimate daughter. He had always wanted Tinley to marry me, but I only regarded her as my younger sister, and…” Bellamy paused for a moment with a strange blush on his face. “I have never been intimate with any woman before.”

“Oh,” Stella replied softly. She walked to the side of the lake and looked at the surface of the lake. She said coldly, “Don’t fall in love with me.”

Bellamy stood beside her and said helplessly, “I’m already in love with you. What should I do then?”
