We continued discussing after some time. I had to go back home.

I asked the security at the gate if Clara has left, and I felt relieved to find out she just stepped out.

I will invite my love to my room to find out what happened to her; I got told she is in the kitchen, opening the door, I saw her crying on the floor bleeding from her head, I got angered seeing her hurt this way and I ask her what happened in a rude tone.

“Oh welcome, sir, I am fine, just mistakenly hit my head at the door; it’s nothing much.” I wouldn’t say I like the fact she just lied to me; it worsens my anger.

Brenda, who was there with her cleaning the wound, said out to me, “Sir, she is lying.”

I knew Brenda would know what happened, but Bella tries to stop her from talking, and I yelled.

“Tell me who did this to her?”

Brenda went on her knee-shaking, saying, “Sir, it’s Miss Clara who hit her and warned her to stop getting close to you.”

My eyes widened, hearing that Clara just hurt the one person I care about after my parents.

“What? Bella, you mean Clara added to your pains while I left the house? This isn’t right?”

“Please, Kyle, don’t take matters at hand; it was a mistake.”

“Enough, Bella, don’t try to stop me, Brenda, take Bella with you; my driver will take you to the hospital to treat her wounds properly” she nodded, and I left the house angrily to the home of Clara.

“How dare she? This shouldn’t be happening under my roof.” I increased the speed of the car.

Getting at her residence, I came down angrily from her car, yelling her name loudly, “Clara!! Clara!!”

One of the maids came to me that Clara is having a nap, “Hey you, I don’t care if she is having a nap or going to see the President, tell her Kyle, request her presence at once”, I yelled at the maid, who hasten her steps to deliver the message.

I have never seen Kyle behave in such a mood before; he got so angry at me for not telling the truth, but why will Brenda tell him everything?

” You shouldn’t have told him, Brenda? What if he does something stupid to her? It will only worsen things for me.”

I started having a double thought about Brenda finding out about my relationship with Kyle, so I said indirectly to her, “But still, I am not his girlfriend.”

“Bella, I believe one day, you and Kyle will end up together. Now let’s go for your treatment at the hospital; I don’t want the boss to transfer his anger on me.”

We laughed.

“I need proper treatment like hell; the pains are just increasing,” I added.

“You are lucky Bella, the boss shows you some much care, and he’s very nice to you; what a great opportunity you have,” she said.

” Oh, Brenda, I still feel he’s just acting nice because that is his traits.” I lied to her; I don’t want anyone to know we have something together.

“Fine if you say so, but I know what I am saying. Let’s go.”

We entered the car and zoomed off to the hospital.
