I groaned in pain as Lisa’s grandma applied some substances to my back, I was really lucky the iron didn’t touch me very well but it left a scar of the shape of the iron.

“Sorry to say but I hate Joanna, why will she stand and let your mother who has this temper do this to you?” Lisa said with anger.

“Let’s just let it go, I was careless, assuming I never left the iron on, this wouldn’t have happened to me”, I said.

“I want to sponsor her in college, make her be the kind of woman I want in her, change her fashion sense, equip her after college and after that, my parents won’t be able to say no to a high standard classic girl, what do you think? She is making me crazy you know, I might ask her out if I can’t pretend anymore” I told Theo with Much excitement I was having.

“Seems mom is her husband to be and not me”, I teased and we both started laughing.

I finished the work at the Wilson’s, but I had to pretend in my walking steps but the pains I was feeling were too much to bear.

I saw Kyle and he said, “What happened? Why walking like you are pregnant?”.

“Oh, just decided to try this way of walking after watching it in a movie last night”, I lied.

“Okay if you say so, concerning the work I have for you, you will do it after my friend who just came leaves okay?”, he said and I nodded in approval.

I entered the room for maids like me, I made sure no one was in, so I raised my top looking at the scar on my back to see if it’s healing fast or not.

I almost started crying seeing how reddish the spot was. I got frightened when I heard, “Holy Christ, what happened to you on your back?”

It was Brenda, I quickly covered it and said, “Oh that, it’s nothing at all, didn’t know you are in here?” I said trying to make sure I end the topic.

“You are such a terrible liar and actor Bella! Tell me the truth, who did this to you? For this I’m so fighting the person now!!”, she said practising her fist for a fight.

I never knew Brenda has this trait of been funny at times.

“As I said, nothing at all okay, my body is just reacting over something I used yesterday” I hope she buys this.

“Well if you don’t feel like sharing, no problem at all, just be careful okay, because I know what to do now.” she said to me before leaving me alone in the room.

The plates I carried in the kitchen fell off my hands beca I was getting tired, it got broken.

“Oh no, this can’t happen to me, I bend to gather the pieces unknown to me my top was revealing the scar and I felt someone lifting it and said.

“Why did you lie to me when I asked you what happened to your walking step?”, it was my boss’s voice and the way his voice sounded serious, I don’t know the kind of lie, I’m going to use this time around.

Maybe I should just change the topic, “Oh, I’m sorry sir, I broke the plates, please don’t tell your mom, you can deduct the money from my salary l’m receiving”, I said with my eyes down, unable to look at him.

“That is not what I asked you, Bella. Okay turn your back and raise your top. I want to see those scars properly.”, he said in a cold tone.

” But..”, he interrupted me saying, “This is an order from your boss”

I have never seen this kind of character from him, who will I tell him did this to me?
