My heart started beating fast, I hope they fail to recognize me.

“Mom, that can’t be true, they are both billionaires. So where possibly must you have seen her?”, Joanna said to mom.

“Yes, you are right my daughter. I’m not even up to their standard to even recognize someone as rich like her.” Mom added.

I didn’t even know the time I burst into laughter. You need to see the face of my mom and sister, how they argued about me. They failed to recognize me too. Truly, money makes someone’s identity change instantly.

I assumed what if I tell them I’m the Cinderella, what will their reactions be, will they believe me or not, what if they just hit me as usual?

I got a terrible slap on my face that redirected my thinking that I wasn’t laughing inwardly but outwardly and mom said, “You fool, what’s making you laugh, are you trying to make a mockery of me and my daughter or what?”

I know I’m in trouble again and I replied to her saying, “Mom I’m not laughing at you please, I just thought of something that happened in the past and I couldn’t hold back my laughter, I’m sorry if I offended you.” I pleaded, I don’t want another beating especially now that I’m recovering too.

“Stupid child.” Shee hurled another insult at me and I couldn’t help but listen to the conversation she had with my sister, I was shocked when she mentioned my boss’s name.

“Joanna what if you follow your sister to work and try and get close to Kyle at all means? Maybe we might be lucky too but if you don’t like him, maybe you can try his friend, I heard they are called the BS(Billionaire’s sons).

I can’t believe my mother just said that. I threatened Joanna in my mind not to dare to take my Kyle but at the same time I felt so stupid for I knew he’s not my property or lover so she is free to have him if she gets lucky.

“Mom, I love his friend, his style and everything, maybe I can give it a try but we need the help of the rag we have in the house.” My sister indirectly referring to me told mom.

Can’t believe she just addressed me like a rag when I know she needs me on something, I know what I will do to her, I will ignore her I will be leaving to my storage room to avoid her help.

I was already leaving when mom yelled my name after I snubbed three times, now I know I just took a stupid decision by ignoring at first.

I walked to her and she said, “Seems your little illness affected your hearing right. I have a task for you, find out when your boss friend will come and visit so you call me and let me know?”

“But I’m not his PA, I don’t even know the friend you are talking about and lastly I don’t even have a phone to call you. So the task might not be possible.” I said with pride for the first time in my life.

I saw the look my sister gave to me before leaving us and mom dragged my ears saying, “You good for nothing child! The simple task you can’t do, well better find out the most popular days his friend always come and tell me. And if you think I will get you a phone, that will be in your dreams. Your sister uses a good phone, are you not ashamed at this your age, you can’t provide a phone for yourself.”

What I hate about everything is that any day I talk with pride, mom always has a way to win me by bringing me down with hurtful words.

I went straight to my room after everything and sleep too.

I woke up stretching on the floor I was sleeping, I enjoyed my night for I dreamt about my prince charming all through but I kept seeing the face of the lady that met us at the date to ruin it warning me to stay away from Kyle.

I sat alone in my room in the dream thinking about who she was to Kyle and will it be right for me to walk up to him asking him when I’m just his maid?

I stood up from the floor still thinking if I should ask him or not then I notice something, I woke up late, it’s 6 am, I almost screamed out but I covered my mouth.

” Oh shit, how did this happen, I was supposed to be awake at the usual time, I dash to the kitchen to wash the dishes and prepare breakfast before everyone will start waking up.

When I finished with breakfast I quickly complete the remaining task I had to finish before I will need to rush to work.

Time was not on my side, but luckily, I had the hope of the money I kept in my room for transport to work. I was jumping in excitement after I finishrd taking my bath.

But my excitement faded when it dawned on me, mom collected the money the day I was beaten and sent outside the house to sleep.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

I can’t be crying now so I need to run with my legs to work, I can’t be late not after skipping work yesterday.

About leaving, mom insulted me before reminding me of the task she asked me.

I came out of the house and started running to work but after few minutes, I already lost the energy that I had to take a break to rest a little.

I was breathing beyond control, after few seconds I continued.

I looked like someone that was been chased from the house when I finally got to the gate of Mrs. Wilson, I sat on the floor trying to catch my breath.

The security opened handling me bottled water to drink, “Guess you will need this before going in to meet my danger.”

I took the water in a rushed thanking him for it was what I needed.

After I was done drinking the water, then what he just said earlier recalled to me and I tried asking what Danger.

“Just go in and pray for luck.”He said.

Now I’m worried about what I’m about to face, getting close to where I always start, I saw Brenda and she said, “Girl you are so doomed, but will try to help you because of the make up you did for me and I got lucky at the date. I will tell you all about everything hun and thanks again.” This triggered more fear in my body.

Then I overheard Kyle and his mom arguing and she screams, “I’m going to deal with her, that Bella of a girl for making you sacrifice an important meeting with your father.” His mom sounded so harsh.

Truly i am so doomed as she requested for me from one of the maids.
