Eliza said softly, "Actually, even if you didn't tell me to do it, I was already planning to let Rodney know about it. Freya shouldn't be regarded as a wicked woman in his heart. Having said that, I'm worried that he'll go back to Freya and pester her."

Catherine sneered. "Considering that he'll be holding a grand wedding with Sarah, what gives him the right to go after Freya? I want him to regret it. When he realizes Sarah's true colors, the more regretful he is, the more he will resent Sarah."

Eliza pictured the scene and looked at Catherine. A trace of admiration flashed across her eyes in spite of herself. "Cathy, Freya is lucky to have a friend like you."

Catherine was a little unhappy.

However, Chester was not Rodney. Both of their personalities were worlds apart. One was cold and

distant, whereas the other was affectionate. Therefore, she could not deal with Chester even with her wit.

In the evening, Freya headed to the Snow family's house.

Nathan and Heidi had brought Dani over. By the time Freya arrived, Wendy was grinning from ear to ear while carrying Dani. However, Dani was clearly more familiar with Heidi, so she cried shortly after Wendy carried her.

Wendy had no choice but to hand her granddaughter t o Heidi.

The smile on Heidi's face faded while Nathan snorted beside her. "Don't mention that rascal. A year ago, he broke up with Summer behind our backs. I was so mad that I slapped him."

Freya was stunned to know that Ryan was slapped. He never mentioned it to her.

At the thought of how he was always gentle and understanding in front of her, she was slightly guilty.

"Dad, I've tried forcing him." Nathan sighed. "But he was adamant about breaking up and is unconcerned about his future."
