"Did I upset you by mentioning Rodney?" Freya suddenly tilted her head and looked at Ryan.

"No. I know you mentioned him not because you care about him. You just can't forget the suffering he caused you." Ryan bent over and kissed her on the forehead. "Dear, don't stay in the kitchen anymore. It's full of the smell of grease. Go and accompany Dani."

It struck Freya that this man possessed a kind of magic. Being with him always made her feel relaxed.

Although they were both the same age, he was always the one tolerating her. While Ryan was cooking, Freya toured his residence.

At 12:30 p.m., he was done with a three-course meal. H e cooked a plate of tomato garlic pasta and a bowl of chicken potato salad. As for the stew, it was seafood stew made with fresh shrimps, clams, and mushrooms.

Ryan ladled out a bowl of stew for her.

Dani smelled the aroma from the cradle. Although she could not eat the food, she kept bawling.

"Don't worry. You have something to eat too."

Ryan took a baby bowl from the kitchen and filled it with some rice cereal.

"What's this?" Freya was worried. Although Dani could take rice cereal now, she could not eat anything randomly.

"Don't worry. I asked my friend to bring this from overseas, and it's suitable for babies her age. I even added some carrot juice to it."

Freya felt that Dani was never this cooperative when she fed Dani water.

He placed the dishes into the dishwasher after the meal. Then, he played with Dani for a while before she fell asleep in his arms.
