Belong to the Lycan Alpha

Chapter 166

“If there is something good in Aiden, he must have gotten it from you, alpha James,” Ruby said in small voice and sheepish voice. “This period of time must be so hard on you, but I am sure you will be able to handle this problem eventually.”

James was startled when he heard how Ruby praised him, he was not someone who was easily fluttered, but then, it was very good to hear someone talked nicely about you and appreciate what you were doing.

He didn’t get this affection from Jasmine because her mate was too busy to wallowing their son, who had run away and tarnished their name. Not even once Jasmine thought about this pack.

Of course, she loved this pack so much, but her precious son was above everything. Alpha James remembered how she fought him when he was about to send Aiden to the battlefield. Thankfully, at that time Aiden his

decision to send him away, or else, Jasmine would have stood her

ground and the victory would never happen.

But then, alpha James felt guilty because in a way, he sent his son away to his demise because he met this woman.

Alpha James raised his head and looked at Ruby. She looked innocent and genuine. “You can leave, Ruby. There are a lot of things I have to do today.”

“Of course, alpha James,” Ruby said, she nodded politely at him.

“Thank you for the tea.”

“Anytime.”

After that, she went out of the study room and walked toward the nursery room, where her son was still sleeping. She caressed his ruddy cheek and smiled bitterly.

“I love you so much baby, but I hate your father,” Ruby said in small voice and then kissed her son’s forehead.

Later that night Ruby met with alpha Ramon in secret again, she was wearing hoodie that covered her face and was being cautious with her surroundings.

“I don’t believe it that you have nothing to do with the lycan’s attack,” Ruby said, narrowing her eyes at

the alpha before her.

Alpha Ramon scowled at the accusation. “If there is anyone to be suspicious of right now, it is you.” He approached Ruby, his figure was very intimidating, as if he was going to do something horrendous to this woman. “Watch what you said. Your mate was the only person, who obsessed to know about the

other pack of lycan. He was the one, who joined hand with Grace and her father to infiltrate the lycan

pack and cause himself ended up in a trial that would ruin his life. This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.

Ruby gulped down hardly. She had never felt very scared like right now, thus out of instinct, she took a few steps back.

“But, you supposed to catch Aiden, yet, you couldn’t find him. You lost him.” The two of them agreed that they woul

Scheme against Aiden to make him received the heaviest punishment.

Alpha Ramon scoffed when he heard that. He wanted to laugh. “And do you think I deliberately lost him? How funny the way your brain is working.”

Ruby hated the remark, because it reminded her that she came from a low family background and how uneducated she was.

“I gain nothing from letting him

cape my clutch.”

Ruby stared at him for a while, wanted to be sure that she was not being manipulated, but then, she couldn’t tell the difference.

“I think our meeting should be ended, since you can’t get what I want, I will not give you the one I promised you,”

Ruby promised him to help him schemed against alpha James, so he could claim this pack. That was the depth of her hatred toward the people in this pack, who treated her unfairly.

Aiden, the man, who supposed to be her mate and the father of her son turned his back and became very abusive toward her. He didn’t even care at all of how hurtful the word he hurled toward her.

Luna Jasmine, the mother that she wished she would have, would always compare her with Lilac. There was not even a single day that went without her mentioning how good and smart Lilac was and how she wouldn’t be able to meet her expectation like Lilac did.

While the rest of the pack member only watched everything in silence, they didn’t offer her any help and looked at her as if she was a dirt, even after she gave birth to her son, they didn’t count her as one of them.

In that case, she would rather help alpha Ramon to destroy this pack. Her hatred ran so deep and her anger turned into vengeance.

“Look for me again if you managed to find Aiden and bring him back to go through trial.”

Alpha Ramon raised his brows. “Did you hate your mate so much?”

“Yes.” After saying that, Ruby then walked away.

Meanwhile, alpha Ramon stayed in his place, staring at Ruby’s back. He was deep in thought and remembered what the alpha lycan told him.

“He is insane…” he mumbled to himself. “How he could predict this?”

Hunter read this woman just like reading a report. He knew what kind of person this woman could be and how to use her.

More so, Hunter knew that he would agree with this arrangement and joined in in this scheme.

“I hope I will not be on his bad side.” Alpha Ramon shook his head and walked away.

That night, storm hit the Golden Claw pack and everyone was forced to stay inside the room, but when morning came the sky was very clear and the air was crispy.

“Morning,” Hunter said softly, kissing Lilac’s face. She had been terrified the entire night because the sound of the storm was very scary, thus she snuggled against him and Hunter had to hug her to sleep.

“Morning…” Lilac said sleepily, she nuzzled his neck and closed her eyes again.
