The yellow rays of the sun shone right onto a girl who deliberately showed off her beautiful, bright, smooth and clean face. Her eyelashes were so long, a sharp nose that looked like a Caucasian, plus lips that were polished using ombre lips coloring that matched her bright yellow skin. Her eyes were still facing the sun, as if the sun’s rays gave her the spirit to live life for today. Her lips quirked upwards, making her beautiful face look even more beautiful accompanied by her signature smile.

At the Foundation, Bang Martin was tidying up the books and benches in each room. This time he was in room B, where he found Nova’s keychain. A keychain with a cherry blossom motif made of monel. But what is surprising is that the material is made into a keychain, which is obviously very, very rare and not necessarily sold on the market. “Bang Martin? Are you here?” Nova asked while raising her voice slightly.

“Yes! I’m in room B, Nova!” Said Bang Martin shouting for the girl to hear his voice. Nova walked towards the room Bang Martin was referring to.

“Ah, you were cleaning up. What time is it going to start? It’s already 7 a. m. and you’re still cleaning.” Nova said while sitting on one of the benches in the room.

“It’s still a while, class will start around 9:00, I’ve contacted all the guardians.” Bang Martin said lightly while not taking his eyes off the glass he was wiping. Instantly Nova’s eyes widened at Bang Martin’s explanation.

“Wh-what? Didn’t I hear wrong? You said nine o’clock? Wow this is crazy, why didn’t you call me oh? I can leave at noon.” Bang Martin put the rag in his hand on the table and approached Nova.

“Heyy, teachers should still leave early even if their students leave at noon, Nova.”

“We’re not teachers, we’re just mentoring, right? Not a classroom teacher who’s always on standby every day.” Nova was annoyed at Bang Martin.

“But still, Nova. Our job is to make people’s children able to read. That also includes teachers. And teachers, should be role models for their students.”

“Yaisshh, what a wise ass.” Nova grumbled.

“Never mind, you might as well clean up the other class. Or you can prepare something else that can make this class tidy.” Bang Martin ordered. When he was about to leave the room, the man suddenly remembered something.

“Oh yeah.”

“What else?”

“Geez, you’re so angry, smile first.” Bang Martin said. Nova automatically obeyed Bang Martin’s orders.

“What is it again Bang Martin?” Nova blinked her eyes repeatedly on purpose and Bang Martin laughed at her.

“Hahahaha, geez. You’re trying to tease me, huh?”

“Here, I found this hanger on the teacher’s desk in this room.” Bang Martin held out his palm which already contained an object that was certainly familiar to the girl with neck-length hair. The girl also glanced at Bang Martin.

“I… that… that’s mine.” Nova immediately took the cherry blossom-shaped keychain and put it back in her bag. Bang Martin, who already understood, just smiled.

“Alright, next time keep it well. I’ll go first.” When she was about to leave, Nova held Bang Martin’s arm.

“Where are you going? I want to talk to you about something.” Nova said seriously, making Bang Martin melt and agree by nodding his head.

“What is it? Let’s talk in my room. It won’t be good if the other tutors hear.” Nova just obeyed when Bang Martin gently pulled Nova’s hand towards his room.

Now they sat next to each other on the elongated bench in Bang Martin’s room.

“What do you want to talk about?”

“It’s… about…”

“Yes, it’s about him.” Bang Martin’s smile instantly faded, replaced with a very serious face.

“What’s wrong with her?”

“On the night of the lantern festival, we accidentally met and had a chat.” Nova said, Bang Martin smiled wryly at Nova’s explanation.

“And then?”

“I told you everything. Told her about the past when Mr. Gifer and Sis Raya gave me and Rosa dolls as gifts.”

“What did he think about that? Does he remember it too?” Asked Bang Martin, Nova again nodded her head.

“Yes, he does remember it, but… Mr. Gifer doesn’t really remember clearly because he has forgotten about that past. Whereas for me, the past means a lot, but for him it’s the opposite. And when I cried, he just gave me a tissue and gave me calming words. Ah never mind, it was me who was too hopeful. Not anymore, I’ll open another heart for my future. Besides, Mr. Gifer already has a girlfriend. There’s very little hope for me to wish for him. After all, me and him are very different in terms of finances.
