Is it True?
The atmosphere of the hospital was so precarious after the incident of Mr. Kevin who was hit by a large lamp in the lobby of the building that was arguably still his own. Gifer and Haris were still loyal to wait for the white door that had been closed without opening a single crack. They both sat on the bench that had been provided in front of the door of the all-white room. Gifer sighed roughly while holding his cell phone.
“Did you call Raya, Gif?” Haris asked with concern as well seeing his friend who was still tense for fear of anything happening with Mr. Kevin.
“I did, Ris. But I still felt uneasy before Mr. Kevin was declared not critical. Even the doctor hasn’t come out since a while ago. I’m getting nervous if there’s no news like this. I’m afraid something will happen to Mr. Kevin.” Just the look in Gifer’s eyes told Haris everything.
“Think positive, Gif. Don’t think about things that haven’t happened yet. Stay strong, and pray that the doctor comes out of that room quickly and says good things, not bad things, that we don’t want.” Haris said with a smile. Trying to calm his friend down.
Gifer nodded his head understanding what Haris meant. The man must not be pessimistic, Gifer must be optimistic so that good things are obtained, not bad things. While he was talking, Gifer saw Raya coming with Indra from a distance. Gifer immediately told Haris.
“Ris, Raya and Indra are here.” Gifer said while pointing his chin towards Raya and Indra who were walking towards him. Indra suddenly turned his head. And it was true what Gifer had said that Raya and Indra were getting close.
“You guys are here, how is my father?” Asked Raya curiously because her father had never experienced a disaster of this magnitude before. Raya frowned in surprise because neither Gifer nor Haris gave any answer. Gifer shook his head. He couldn’t answer Raya’s question.
“No, the doctor hasn’t come out of the room yet, I’m also afraid if something serious happens.” Haris’ answer helped Gifer not to be blamed too much here.
“I’m sorry, Raya. This is all my fault. If Mr. Kevin hadn’t helped me earlier, I would have been hit by that big lamp in the Shinning Doll building.” Gifer said.
“Wait a minute. Honestly, I don’t understand this, Gif. Why did my father get hit by this accident? What was the chronology? Can you explain it in detail?” Raya really couldn’t contain her curiosity. The girl wanted to know everything, what Gifer had told her was not the whole story and it made her die of curiosity.
Gifer began to tell the chronology of the incident that happened to Mr. Kevin. Raya covered her face with both hands. Indra, who knew her lover was in shock, held the small shoulders.
“What’s wrong, dear? Why are you so shocked to hear the story?” Indra asked.
“Indra, it could be one of Nara’s actions.” Raya’s mind immediately went in that direction as she looked at Indra.
“Is that so? I suspect Nara too, but we don’t have any evidence.” Gifer replied, agreeing with Raya’s thoughts.
“Well that’s it, that’s why we can only keep quiet while we don’t have any evidence.” Said Indra.
“Is it still long? What has the doctor done there? Why not tell the patient’s family first before doing anything?” Raya was really panicking.
“I don’t know, I don’t understand either.” Gifer massaged his temples.
“You should also call Belvina, don’t Belvina and Anggi also know Mr. Kevin? At least if they don’t know about Mr. Kevin’s misfortune, then they should visit him too, right?” Haris suggested.
“Yes, I’ll call them.” Gifer started to inform Belvina over the phone that Mr. Kevin was in the hospital.
Shortly after Gifer called his girlfriend, she finally came along with her best friend. Just as the two of them arrived in front of the ER room, Gifer immediately stood up and walked towards his lover. Whispering something into Belvina’s ear. They both left from the front of the ER room without caring about Raya, Indra, Anggi, and also Haris who were still gawking at the two people who just left without saying goodbye.
“Honey, come with me for a moment.” Gifer took Belvina’s hand and took her for a walk around the hospital. Belvina who was still confused about what was wrong with Mr. Kevin was still digesting what her boyfriend was going to do now.
“Where are we going, honey?”
“Just follow me, dear.”
Belvina could only sigh resignedly with the hand that Gifer kept holding.
Now they had arrived at a hospital cafeteria. Both of them have ordered food and drinks. While eating, it turned out that the two of them were talking about Mr. Kevin’s problem.
“Honey, I brought you here because I’m hungry, hehe.” Gifer also ate with gusto because obviously the sweet man had not had breakfast this morning, but instead there was such an unexpected incident, making his stomach even more sore.
“Haissh, you deserve it. Next time I’ll make lunch, do you want some?” Belvina asked happily, making Gifer instantly turn his gaze towards his lover.
“Can you deliver it to my apartment every day?” Gifer asked back.
“Ah, well yes, I can’t.”
“Hahaha, don’t eat yet, better when we’re married.” Gifer replied to Belvina’s ear, making the girl happy to hear it.
“When are you going to marry me, hm? Are you serious about what you’re saying?”
“Gifer Fernandez never lies, dear. Not now, but the plan is already in place.” Gifer said with a sweet smile.
“You don’t have to talk so much if there’s no proof. Uh yes, what happened to Mr. Kevin earlier? Why did you call to say that Mr. Kevin had an accident, what accident?” Belvina asked curiously. Gifer told his lover from the beginning to the end of the incident this morning.
“I see, it looks like someone wants to trap you, dear.”
“Do you think so?” Gifer asked, Belvina nodded her head in response.
“Then if that’s the case, who do you think did this?”
“Looking back, it seems like the villain is still using the old tricks, so it’s still easy to guess. I still think it was Nara. Because she used the same method of making you receive a call from someone, after which disaster would befall you. Nara was after your life from the start, dear. But you’re still alive because there are good people who help you. During the accident, you were helped by Ian, and now Mr. Kevin. The only difference is that Mr. Kevin had to get hurt. We have to find proof that this is Nara’s crime. If we don’t, then that girl will continue to target your life. From now on, please, be careful when receiving calls, dear. It could be from an important person, but it could also be a trap.” Gifer thought a bit upon hearing Belvina’s explanation.
“Yes, you’re right, dear. I’ll give it a try. Raya and Indra also thought that this was Nara’s doing. If you run into Nara by accident, pretend not to know anything. Same goes for me, just say that my bazaar went well.” Gifer said.
“Alright, ready.”Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.
