"I have never blamed you for these things. From now on, we are still best friends," Anne said with a smile.

Emily nodded slowly. When she looked up, she saw three little figures standing at the corner, observing them silently. Her lips curled up on their own accord.

"Eddy, why are you hiding there with your brother and sister? Come out. I want to see Simon," she cooed, looking fondly at him.
