“You never asked, so I never bothered to, besides, I knew you were going to see me on my outfit sooner or later.” he responded like it was not worth talking about.

“Well that’s great. It’s such a coincidence that my boyfriend is also a police man. Please join us for breakfast. We are one anyway.” anita said.

Kate was so pleased.

After the breakfast, the trio sat in the sitting room as they watched some channels on the television. “Do you live here to?” Liam asked Anita.

“It’s her apartment. We are more of sisters, so I come here to spend quality times with her.” Kate replied before Anita could speak.

“Oh that’s great. So where do you live?”

Anita caught him on that and froze. Why was he acting like something would occur if they go to her house.

Standing up, “in that case, I thing I should take you there.”

“Now?” Anita asked.

“Yes darling. Awwn looks like you are missing me already. I will see you later okay.” Kate said to Anita and walked into the room to pick up her handbag, while Anita followed behind.

“Kate don’t tell me you are going to your house alone with this man.” Anita asked her, bothered about Kate taking things too far within a short amount of time.

“Yes I am and trust me to have fun girl.” she replied happily.

“Kate I want you to have fun okay, but then again, he has not officially asked you out, so I don’t think it’s appropriate to do this.”

“Come on now Anita. You know I’m not interested in a man begging me to be with him at the moment. I am the one who missed true love. I missed being loved Anita please accept him.”

“Come on, what are you saying? You know I accepted him from the very beginning, I just don’t want to see you heart broken. You are not just my friend but my sister. I’m only being cautious and you are aware of how much I love and adore you.”

“I know you love me Anita, but so just this one thing for me. Just accept him no matter what. As long as he doesn’t hurt me in anyway, I promise you, all will be well.”

“Yes honey. Anything that makes you happy, is what I will be cool with.” she replied.

After sometime, Kate appeared in the living room with Anita. Soon, Liam and Kate left the house to Kate’s apartment.

“I can’t believe you have such a great apartment.” Liam admired.

“of course I do. Please sit down.” she replied.

“Thank you!”

Without wasting time, Kate rushed to her refrigerator and brought out some chilled juice and had it served.

“Please drink.” she said to him.

Liam didn’t hesitate to take it and gulped down almost half of it at once.

“Have some taste.” he said as he fed her some.

Kate felt so cool that she didn’t know how and when to appreciate him.

Liam was surprised at her behaviour. He had come across pretty and sexy ladies countless times, but he had never seen one as soft as Kate before.

She must be very vulnerable. She must need some loving.

He thought.

“I really like you Kate and I hope in a few days, depending on us, that I will be bold enough to tell you that I love you.” he said to her.

Kate froze in shock.

She had never expected those words. It was then like her brain got formatted and she couldn’t think of anything else but his words.

Taking a closer look at him, she wondered if he really meant what he was saying. She then got the television on and placed her head on his laps.

Liam looked down at her sexy lips as he wondered if Kate knew how beautiful she was.
