Alpha's Second Chance

Rose was still sleeping, I had left her a note telling her I was with Alpha Alexander, and to mindlink me if she woke up while I was gone. But after more than an hour, and Alpha Alex told me that her father's packmember and his wife just arrived at the landing field. We went outside side to wait, and not long after, a huge man and a smaller woman arrived at the house

"Where is she?" The woman asked in a rush.

"My apologies Alpha my mate have been very worried since the call from our king." The man says.

"Oh, yes. I am sorry, Alpha." The woman says as well.

"Don't be sorry. I am not offended. I understand your worry. Hello, Beta Kyle. You are still Beta, right?" Alpha Alexander asks. And the man bows.

"You can call it that; however, the king has another Beta. I have functioned as an adviser, and you can say a second Beta," the man Kyle says.

"This is Enzo, and I don't believe you have met." Alpha Alexander says, and Kyle looks at me.

"No, we have not met, but the king told me the princess found her mate, and from what I could find out in the northern territory, you're a good man," Kyle says, and I bow my head in respect.

"Thank you, Beta Kyle. Rose is sleeping I think she is exhausted emotionally. Let me take you to her." I tell them and offer to take them to our room.

"Yes, thank you." The woman says and looks at Kyle.

"Go see her and make sure she is okay. I will have a talk with the Alpha," Kyle says, and she nods her head.

I show her inside and up the stairs to our room.

"My name is Kate. We're happy to meet you, Enzo. I just hoped it would have been a more happy time." the woman says, sounding sorry.

"Mrs. Kate, don't be sorry. I'm happy you and Beta Kyle were close. And I am happy to meet you," I say as I open the door to our room.

"Oh my poor girl," Kate said, rushing over to Rose and checking her. Then she looked at me, shocked.

"Is that her wolf, I sense?" She asked, surprised.

"Yes, her name is Kaila. It seems that when the matebond was fully formed, it made it possible for them to connect to each other." I tell her, and she smiles.

"That's amazing. I think her wolf must be protecting her by making her sleep. So I think the best will be to get her away from here. And back to America.“ Kate says. "Yes, I agree," I say and nod my head.

"You get your stuff ready and I will have someone to come help with getting that and Rose to the plane." She says.

"Just the bags. I will carry her there." I tell her, and she smiles.

"Of course." She says and leaves the room.

I checked that our bags were all packed, and didn't take long before there was a knock on the door. Two Omegas came in and bowed, and they told me Alpha Alexander sent them. I told them they could take the bags and that I would carry Rose, and they did as told.

The walk to the plane was not long, and when we got there, Beta Kyle told me that I could go in with her. Kate thanked Alpha Alex and followed me into the plane. When I was sure she was comfortable enough, I walked back out to the men and saw Michael was there as well.

"Enzo, I am sorry for what happened. The way she always spoke, I thought the lie about her daughter being dead. It was just because it was hurtful for her. I hope Rose is okay.” He says. en

"No one knew what would happen," I reply.

"I cut her off. I want nothing to do with her. Please give this to Rose from me." He

asked me and handed me a letter.

"My number is in there." He says, and I nod my head and take it.

"I can not promise if or when she will contact you," I say, and I notice Kyle looking at me.

"I understand. She doesn't know me, even though I am her brother. But tell her there is no pressure." I see the slight shock Kyle gets, but he says nothing.

"I will," I say and turn to Alpha Alex.

"Alpha, thank you for all the help, even if it didn't go as wanted. I want you to know it's very appreciated." I say.

"You welcome, best of wishes my boy." He says and I bow before entering into the plane again. This time followed by Kyle.

When I get on the plane, I sit down next to Rose. When we are all seated, I see Kyle mindlink someone, and the plane begins to move.noveldrama

I guess this is it. I am going to America with my amazing mate to start a new life, and to be honest, I am looking forward to it. Mostly because I know Rose will be by my side.

After hours of flying, Kyle told me to look out of the window, and I did. My eyes met a view of huge mountains and forests. It looked awesome, and I felt Rocky getting excited.

"We are landing, and the king and Queen are both waiting where we land. Do expect that the king wants to marry his daughter." Kyle told me, and I nodded my head.

"That's fine, they are the reason I thought getting her home was best," I say. And feel the plane begin to go down.

Time to meet my new family, I think to myself just as the wheels of the plane touch the ground.
