When I wake up, it is dark. I look at the watch and see it's only nearly 3 AM. Enzo is still sleeping, so I carefully get out of bed and go to the bathroom. I could feel a headache coming like something was trying to take space in my head.

I have mindlinked with my family because of the family bond, so I knew what it felt like when someone tried to mindlink. But this was nothing like it. It hurt, like if someone wanted to take over my head and never leave it again. I fell to the floor, trying not to make a sound, not wanting to wake up Enzo in the other room. But then I felt a big push and a break, as if something or someone finally broke through, and the pressure disappeared.

"Hello, Rose. I am Kaila, your wolf." I heard in my head.

"Hello," I said in shock, the dream was right.

"I am sorry I couldn't get through long ago. But everyone has been right. You have been feeling abandoned and broken, and the feelings were too strong for me to push through. And it only got worse when we were rejected because I also felt that pain," she said sadly.

"I am so sorry. I wish I had been strong enough to handle everything." I tell her.

"No, it is not your fault. I never blamed you, and meeting Enzo and Rocky started you to heal. And when you fully accepted each other and let him mark you, I felt an opening and managed to push through, just enough to also mark him. But your body needed some rest, so I waited with this part. I am sorry it hurt," she said.

"So you never truly was gone? You were always there, waiting." I ask her.

"Yes, Rose, I was here, waiting." She tells me, and I feel a tear fall from my eyes.

"I am so happy you are here. You have no idea." I tell her.noveldrama

"I know. Remember, I feel it all. Now get some rest. We won't shift yet, but soon," she says.

"Okay," I say.

I do my business, noticing a little blood from Enzo breaking my virtue. And stand washing my hands when I notice it. The mark of a black wolf howled at the moon while a smaller brown wolf lay down next to it.

"It is a beautiful mark. Our mate is more powerful than he says." Kaila says.

"Yes, it is," I say and smile before going back into the bed.

I slowly crawl back into the bed, not wanting to wake up Enzo, but as I lay down, I felt his arms go around me, pulling me close. We lay in a spoon position with my back up against him, and it felt so good and safe.

"That took time. Are you okay?" Enzo asks me in a whisper.

"Yes, better than ever," I whisper back.

"Rocky, say you met Kaila." He says softly against my shoulder.

"Yes, I did. She is amazing," I say with a smile.

"Of course. She is, she is a part of you," he says, kissing between every word. And it feels amazing.

"She says we will wait with shifting, though," I whisper, trying to stay focused.

"Mhmm, that is probably not a bad idea." He agrees as he kisses the back of my neck and caresses my hips.

"I know," I whisper. Trying to hold it back, but a small, breathless moan slips out when he kisses his mark on my neck.

"Enzo." I moan softly. As his hand goes between my legs where, he, without a doubt, can feel how wet and ready I am.

"Fuck." He growls softly.

He removes his hand but uses it to place my leg over his so they spread a little, pulling my ass closer. Then I feel him as he slowly and softly thrusts inside of me.

I moan mixed with a small whimper, feeling sore from earlier.

"Do you want me to stop, Beautiful?" He asks me.

"No. no, I don't, but I am sore." I moan.

"I will be gentle. I promise." He promises as he thrusts in until he is all there. And we moan together.

"I love the feeling of you, fuck." He growls as he starts thrusting in and out slowly.

He kept his promise. He had been so

gentle, and I was so lost in his presence that I didn't feel the

soreness. We never changed positions, but he made sure I was okay, and I loved it. When we came together, it felt amazing. After that, he didn't pull out right away but just held me close, turning my head so he could kiss me.

"I will never get tired of feeling you around me." He growled softly as he softly removed himself, and I moaned a little, feeling him pulling out.

"I never thought it could feel like this," I whisper and turn around so I face him.

"Me either." He whispers as she caresses my face.

"You are so beautiful.” He says and smiles when I blush.

He pulls me close, puts his arms

around me, and just holds me as my head is on his chest, and we lay like this. He tells me what cities he start to search in when we get to

Terni told him I had an old pic fonet

so he gave me an idea of how she looked. After a few hours, we get up and have a shower together, get dressed, and walk to where our ride to Terni starts.

The guys driving are human and think Enzo is@ust my guide. They said something I didn't understand and laughed, but then Enzo answered, and they stopped. When my bag is loaded, we get on the back of the truck, and Enzo makes sure we sit secured when the car starts driving.
