She planted a kiss on my lips.

My heart skipped. Am I dreaming?

Damn her lips were very soft. The feeling of her lips on mine sent goosebumps all over me.

“Hey, what are you looking at?” She asked which brought me back to reality.

Oh, sh*t. I can’t believe what just happened. It was all an imagination.

“Hey, are you just gonna stare the who day looking confused?” She said.

“Okay, fine. I will leave” she added as she turned to leave

“Please wait, ” I said

Shocked at her question, I watched her try to undress…

In disappointment, I turned back. I wanted to watch her undress. She joined me and it seemed as if my imagination is coming to pass. I turned to look at her, my heart raced faster as I watched her swim around. Her curly hair was wet and laid back. She swam close to me then I said to myself

“Yes, this is it. The moment I’ve been waiting for”

I looked at her lips which were inviting then up to her charming eyes. Something in me wanted to claim her all that was ringing in my head was “mate”.

I decided to take the first step…

We heard her mother call.

“Sorry, I have to go,” she said as she made her way out of the water. This time, I watched her put on her clothes.

“Hold that thought, we still have an unfinished business,” she said as she left.

“Yes, it’s nice out here” I replied

“You know that’s not what I mean” she stated

I chuckled as I made my way to my room. Laid on the bed with the thought of what just happened. Finally, I got to know that she feels the same way about me.

The next day, I took a walk in the woods. I noticed someone was following me. I knew it was Karen but I played along till we got deep into the forest.

“You can come out now,” I said

“How did you know I was following you,” she asked

“Don’t worry about that” I said

“Now to what do I owe this ambush,” I asked teasingly.

“Nothing, I just have an unfinished business,” she said

“An unfinished business huh,” I asked

“I don’t remember doing any business with you,” I said looking straight into her eyes.

Just before I could say anything, she kissed me. I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me but no it wasn’t. I wrapped my arms around her waist and drew her closer to me and kissed her back. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me more.

Things got out of hand, we couldn’t stop and ended up making out in the woods. It was my first time and gosh she was a virgin.

I felt really bad about what I did. I felt like I took advantage of her. I couldn’t even look at her face.

“Hey,” she said as she held my face in her hands

“Don’t worry, I too wanted this.” She said as she planted a kiss on my lips.

We got dressed and went back to her house.

“Stop there both of you,” Her mother ordered.

We made a halt in fear.

“What have you both done?” She asked

“Nothing,” Karen said.

“Don’t lie to me girl, what did you do?” Her mother asked furiously

“We made out,” Karen said

Shocked at what she said, I looked at her and then turned to her mother who looked disappointed at both of us. She walked out on us and went to her room.

“We are finished,” I said

“Don’t worry, I will fix this” Karen said

I wondered how she was going to fix this. Her mother looked angry.

She followed her mother to her room. I stood outside pacing around not knowing what to do. Irene walked past and said,

“Don’t worry, you are not gonna die. You are lucky”

At this point, I didn’t consider myself as lucky. Soon after, Karen walked out of the room with a frown and looked at me. At this point I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me but immediately, the frown turned to a smile and left me confused. She ran to me and hugged me which didn’t make any sense.

“My mother gave us her blessings,” she said.

Amazed at what she just said, I hugged her right and kissed her just then her mother came out and said

“Not a tear from her eyes, ” she warned.

“Yes, ma” I replied

Soon after I took Karen as my wife, she got pregnant and gave birth to a triplet a boy, and two girls. Just then we thought we would live happily, a prophecy came that my son was going to be the strongest of all wolves on the next full moon after he turns eighteen. He was to rule over other packs alongside his sisters. Just then our nightmares began.

One day, we were attacked by wolves, I killed the wolves and that was the first time I ever killed. Before I killed them, I asked one of them who sent them, and they said it was an alpha known as “Eric.” And before I finally killed him, he said many more are coming.

To keep the children safe we had to separate them. Karen left with Jaden our son. Irene offered to help us with Rhea and her mother offered to help with Lucy. I stayed back to make sure they won’t be followed. I killed many wolves that came to attack. I got to build my packs. And sent out one of my most trusted men Murphy with others to Karen and Jaden.

Years passed, and I saw Murphy running toward me. He fell at his feet in tears and said

“Sorry, Lady Karen is dead”

On hearing this my heart ached. My world came crumbling.

“And Jaden?” I asked

“He’s safe for now” he answered

“Who did this?” I asked in anger

“Alpha Eric” he answered

“And I think if he finds out where Jaden is, he will go after him,” he added

“Go get yourself cleaned up, we have an unfinished business,” I said to him as I walked to my room. My heart ached to know that the only woman who made my heart race is dead.

“This is it, I’ve had enough. Get ready, I’m coming for you Eric” I said looking at the mirror in my room
