~Rhea’s POV~

Tears rolled down my eyes. I didn’t know how to say it but I had to before it will be too late.

I was about to tell them the truth when we heard a sound. We looked around but didn’t see anything or anyone.

“Who’s there?” Jaden asked

“It might be a bush rat,” I said

Lucy and Jaden still didn’t look convinced about what I said.

“I sense something really strong coming our way,” Lucy said

“I can smell it too. It’s near” Jaden added

“Guys, don’t scare me. I’m already tensed about what I was about to say” I pleaded

Jaden turned to me and asked

“What were you about to say?”

“Uhmmm, you might not believe it but it’s the truth,” I said as they looked at me waiting to hear what I have to say.

“We are siblings,” I said as they both looked at me in disbelief

“All three of us” I added.

They both busted out in laughter which kinda got me a bit angry. I just told them the truth, the actual truth and here they are laughing their guts out.

“You are joking right?” Jaden asked as they both continue to laugh

“Stop it guys, I’m serious,” I explained

“Okay look, you both have a mark on the back of your right hand. Don’t you?” I asked

They both looked at their right hand then turned to me.

“It might be a coincidence or something,” Lucy said

“Yeah, what does it matter? It doesn’t mean we are siblings ” Jaden added”

I turned to Jaden and said

“Remember the old lady, you wanted me to find out the truth about why she had my pictures and my supposed mother’s picture in her living room.”

“Yes, but what do you mean by supposed mother?” Jaden asked

“The person that raised me is not my mother but my aunt. ” I stated

“According to the old Lady, we were separated when we were little to keep us safe. The person that took me was my aunt, your aunt. The person that took Lucy was our grandfather and the person that took you was our mother.” I explained as tears rolled down my eyes as I remembered Jaden saying she was dead. I wished I had met her and known what she looked like before her death.

“Wait, this is kinda weird and creepy. How did you even get to know that I was raised by an old man?” Lucy asked still not convinced

“Okay look, before we left the old lady’s house, she gave me a piece of cloth that had a drawing on it. And she said that it would help me find my siblings pointing at the mark on my hand. The mark on my hand is part of the drawing and both of you have the missing parts ” I explained trying to make them believe it was true as they both looked at their hands in confusion.

“Who is the old lady?” Jaden asked

“She’s our grandmother,” I replied

“Grandmother?” Jaden asked

“Yes” I replied

“Where’s the drawing?” Jaden asked

I showed him the drawing and he was surprised. Lucy decided to look at the drawing too.

“Bring forth your right hand,” I said as both of them did.

We joined our hands together to see if they perfectly matched the drawing. It was a perfect match.

“So finally I have a family,” Lucy said as tears rolled down her eyes. I wondered why she was crying. Maybe it’s normal to cry when you meet your family for the first time.

“What happened, I thought you had our grandfather with you?” I asked

“Yes, I did but he passed away a few weeks ago. I’ve been all by myself” she said as I hugged her and tried to comfort her.

Jaden walked around as though thinking of something.

“What is it Jaden?” I asked

“You said we were separated to keep us safe,” he said

“Yes” I answered

“But why?” He asked

“Maybe the same reason why those other wolve’s are after you” I replied

“What else did she tell you?” Jaden asked

“Who?” I asked

“Our grandmother ” he replied

“She only said that I have to find my siblings before it’s too late. ” I answered

“Too late for what?” He asked

“I don’t know” I replied

“I think there’s a lot to this than what we know,” Lucy said

“We need to get to the bottom of this ” she added

“We have a bigger problem” I stated

“What?” They both asked

“Well, the problem there is that we don’t have a single clue about anything, so where do we start from,” I said

“It’s true. Jaden don’t you have any clue about our father or something related to this, I mean you stayed with her” Lucy asked

“No, I don’t ” he replied

“Great, we are down to an endpoint” I mumbled

“By the way, who is our father?” He asked

“I’ve never met him before but I’ve seen his picture,” Lucy said

“Good, at least that will help us find him if he is still alive,” I said

“But how are we going to find him?” Lucy asked

“I don’t know, maybe we can go to your house, I mean our grandfathers’ house. We could find something there ” I said

“Yes, that’s a great idea” Jaden added

“Uhmm, that’s gonna be a bit hard,” Lucy said

“Why?” I asked

“It’s kinda far from here and those guys you saw chasing after me back there, might be waiting for me. It will be dangerous ” she said as we heard a noise

“Who’s there?” Jaden asked and still no response

“It’s here,” Lucy said

“I can smell it” Jaden added

“Guys, what’s going on?” I asked scared of what will happen next. I immediately used the containment spell to protect us. Still no sign of anyone around, Lucy and Jaden kept acting weird as if something was out there.

Suddenly, a man walked toward as other men followed. I wondered who he was and why he was after us. Getting closer, I could see his face. He looked nothing like the others who chased after Jaden and me. It was a tall handsome man. He looked really angry. I could see the anger and sadness in his eyes.

“Speaking of our father, that’s him,” Lucy

“What?” Jaden and I asked
