Celine’s POV :

The party was held in the most luxurious place I had ever been to. All the rich Alphas and their Lunas were discussing some plans and I was not included in it. After dinner, I started to look for Alpha Tyrion who had gone somewhere without informing me first.

‘I don’t see Ava here. ‘Belinay muttered.

Something didn’t feel right about that because she was right as I could see that Alpha Kristian was looking worried and angry too. He had been looking around for her and our eyes matched. He realized that Alpha Tyrion was not by my side and his eyes narrowed at the possibility which must have crossed his mind.

I needed to find Alpha Tyrion because if he was caught with Ava, then it would be more problematic for him. I really didn’t want any more mishaps at this moment.

I looked around in the party hall and saw how everyone reacted whenever I made contact with them by mistake. Even the maids didn’t help me when I tried to ask them about Alpha Tyrion. They made fun of me when I crossed paths with Ava.

” Everyone can see the difference between them both except Alpha Tyrion. ” One of them whispered too loudly.

This time I wanted to stop and look them in the eye to shut their mouths. But the realization that it was not the worth hit me. Even if I would start a fight with them, who was going to support me? No one, for sure.

Alpha Tyrion was still missing and I was getting more worried if he was found with Ava. Alpha Kristian had asked his men to look around the party hall and he was telling the other Alphas who looked furious too. Something clicked in my mind when I saw the dark storage room in the corridor.

They could be there because the place was full of people and it was the only room which was not occupied.

I hurriedly walked to the room but was too late because Alpha Kristian had barged in with other Alphas who switched on the lights revealing Ava on Alpha Tyrion’s lap kissing his face like a starving fish. I gripped the sides of my gown as my heart started to thunder inside my chest.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing with my mate? ” Alpha Kristian roared and Ava immediately jumped to his side like an innocent woman.

Alpha Tyrion fixed his shirt, ” It’s not what you think. I was just talking to her. ”

A furious Alpha Kristian hurled his closed fist towards Alpha Tyrion who caught his hand without any effort from his side. He looked angry, furious enough to kill anyone. His eyes had already shifted to the feral form, his wolf trying to take over.

“Look, I told you that I am not interested in her anymore! ”

Everyone went silent and Alpha Kristian smirked wildly looking at me.

“Yes, why would you be interested in the princess anymore? You have gotten the most powerful and beautiful mate. ”

I instantly felt like crying when the focus of insults turned at me out of nowhere. Ava flicked her hair arrogantly and narrowed her eyes while her eyes roamed over me.

Alpha Tyrion clenched his fists, ” Don’t drag her in this mess. ”

My wolf jumped with excitement when we saw our mate supporting us through the tough time. He could have just ignored the way they were talking about me but instead he took a stand against them.

“She, a maid, with no authority, is what you deserve, Tyrion! The Goddess had never planned something great for you. If you think that Ava will go back to you after everything then you’re wrong. ”

Before I knew, Alpha Tyrion growled and punched him straight in the guts. With his other arm, he swooped me to the left and got ready to defend himself against Alpha Kristian. The ambience of the party hall changed and the Alphas turned on their alert instincts. All of them sided with Alpha Kristian and threatened Alpha Tyrion.

“Back off, Tyrion! ” Alpha Noah shouted.

Alpha Tyrion didn’t bulge from his spot, ” If anyone happens to insult my mate again, I will burn all the fifty kingdoms without giving it a second thought. ”

The tension increased between them to such a point where Alpha Tyrion had already started to shift in his full form and Alpha Kristian’s fangs were on display. No one was willing to get into the mess and I knew it was going to be a huge fight for no significant reason. Ava was just watching me with so much disgust in her eyes that at some point I felt that she was not interested in anything other than me. The growls grew louder from both sides and surprisingly none of the men present there was on our side.

Alpha Tyrion stood inches away from him, glaring right into his eyes with so much anger that terrified a few Alphas.

‘All this because of us… ‘ Belinay cheered in my head.

‘You’re crazy. This violence may excite you but I don’t want to be involved in a war.’

A loud growl erupted in the hall and everyone focused on Alpha Jonathan who had just walked in with his Beta. He didn’t look happy with all the mess and stood between Alpha Tyrion and all the Alphas.

” Can you ever stop making everything so difficult? “He roared angrily.

” It’s not me who started this. ” Alpha Tyrion answered.

Alpha Jonathan raised his brows and mocked him with his superior stare.

“You should start to respect the great Alphas who are going to participate in the challenge for The Throne. You are not even qualified for that. ” Alpha Jonathan said, looking at me.

Alpha Kristian hugged Ava a little, ” Exactly, for the participation everyone needs a Luna who is strong enough to lead the obstacles and come out as victorious. And I have the princess who’s the most powerful wolf. ”

Alpha Tyrion instantly lost his anger and pain reflected in his eyes. I knew that the Throne meant so much to him and now he couldn’t even participate to because of me

Something fueled inside my heart and my wolf howled angrily.

‘We are not weak. I want to participate, Celine. ‘She said.

The motivation was flowing through my veins and I clenched my jaw. Alpha Tyrion had held my hand to take me out of the party. They all smirked to each other, knowing that he lost it. He had been fighting alone and I knew mates were supposed to support each other.

He was my fated mate even if he didn’t know it yet.

“We are participating. Please send the module to the pack. ” I announced with confidence which even shocked me.

His grip tightened on my hand and he whispered, ” You have no idea about it. ”

“What did the maid announce? ” Ava said, looking around.

I took a sharp breath, ” I, Luna Celine, along with Alpha Tyrion announce that we are participating in the competition to the throne. ”

Alpha Tyrion watched me intensely and our eyes locked in each other for the longest I could feel. It was enough to make Ava run away shouting and screaming at everyone. The adrenaline didn’t stop flowing even now and my eyes shone with hope. No one said anything after that.

“See you in the Competition then. Alpha Kristian said to Alpha Tyrion.

He smirked, ” I don’t need a Luna to beat you up. ”

Once out, Alpha Tyrion opened the door of the car for me. He bent down and his hot breath fell on my neck. I waited for the sweet words and praises coming out if his lips.

“You dumb girl. Why did you say that?! ” He muttered angrily.
