The Evidence
[This chapter may be unsettling for some readers due to the uncomfortable situations encountered while uncovering the truth in the evidence.]
Lily has yet to recover from the assault by an unknown assailant. Brian was rushed to the hospital, even though he was already lifeless. When they spoke to the investigating officers, they explained Lily had asked Brian to come over, despite a restraining order preventing him from approaching her.
“Ms. Lily, isn’t Brian a suspect in the recent case involving Ms. Carmela? Why did you agree to meet with him?” the investigator inquired of Lily.
“I know… He’s my sister’s ex-boyfriend. He requested a meeting with us, claiming he had something to share… I personally chose to meet at our house because my husband and my brother Orion are here. I didn’t consider the restraining order because I wanted to know what he had to offer.”
“And is that the USB your companions are referring to?”
Lily nodded.
“Do you mean that Mr. Brian Mendoza came here because he had something to give you, and that something is the USB?”
“Yes, sir… When he handed it to us, that’s when the gunfire broke out.”
The investigators requested the USB that was in Orion’s possession.
“I’m sorry, but we won’t hand over the USB without knowing its contents. We’ve called a lawyer,” Orion said.
“But that’s evidence!”
Faye Burnham was panting as she approached their house. She tried calling her but received no answer, so she sent a message instead. Kael was following the woman, diverting her attention to Danica, who seemed on the verge of tears after seeing the two together.
‘Poor, Dan…’
Even though her sister denied it, Lily was aware that Danica had developed deep feelings for Kael.
“Lily, what happened?” the lawyer inquired.
“I’ve been trying to reach you since earlier, Faye,” she told the woman, casting a scrutinizing glance at Kael.
“Brian has passed away. We were attacked by an individual wearing a black jacket and a helmet. We’re uncertain of their identity, but I strongly suspect they are one of Kenneth’s friends,” Drew reported.
“It can’t be Kenneth, judging from his profile. I’ve seen him several times, and Kenneth is taller than the person who attacked us, so I’m certain it wasn’t him… By the way, Brian gave this to us.” Orion handed the USB to the lawyer.
“Ms. Burnham, this is one of the potential pieces of evidence connected to the recent incident. But they’re reluctant to hand it over because they assert it’s linked to Ms. Carmela’s case,” the investigator explained.
Orion promptly clarified, “I apologize, but I can’t simply hand this over without knowing what’s on it… I used to be in the business.”This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
The investigator’s expression soured.
“May we view and make copies of the files?” Faye inquired calmly.
After a mutual exchange of glances and discussion, they agreed to the request.
Orion connected the USB to the large television in the house. It took a few minutes before the video began to play.
Faye touched her forehead. “That’s the video used by Kenneth’s team when Carmela dropped the case because she lied.”
On the screen, laughter emanated from the men in the shadows. Lily shivered because she recognized it as coming from Keith and Jericho.
“I can’t believe that woman! With just one call from Ken, she’d really come here,” Keith’s voice said.
She recognized Jericho’s voice. “Are you ‘intoxicated’ already?”
And it was followed by Brian. “Shut it!”
“You’re still a pvssy! Your Danica is gone!” Jericho taunted.
“You should’ve shared her with us too!” Even though the video was dark, he knew it was Keith.
“Leave me alone! Could you?!”
“Shhh… Let’s watch them! Hey, Bry! Don’t turn that video off! I can use that against Ken when I want to tease him,” Keith’s voice spoke again.
Carmela and Kenneth appeared on the screen. It was clearer than before, without the earlier chaos and darkness on the screen. Kenneth was sitting on the couch, his face obscured in the dim light. The nurse was still wearing her uniform, indicating that she had just finished her duty.
“Doc, promise that this will be your best blowjob experience,” murmured Carmela.
Lily trembled beneath Drew’s embrace.
“Are you alright, babe? I can take you out for a while if seeing this is triggering for you,” Drew whispered to her.
“I’m fine… please get me some water.” She swallowed hard, her throat feeling parched.
While Drew was away, they could hear the faint laughter of the men on the screen, accompanying Carmela’s kneeling in front of the doctor and his obvious amusement. They couldn’t see much of what they were doing because the view was from behind Carmela, but everyone knew what might be happening, given the doctor’s delighted moans.
A few minutes later, Kenneth joined in. He arranged the nurse on the couch, removed her underwear, and they proceeded to engage in an intimate act.
Drew passed the water to Lily, who couldn’t keep her eyes on the TV screen.
“Is this something Brian gave us to watch, like a porn video or something else?” Orion protested.
Once the two on the screen had finished, the three men emerged, laughing. It was evident that Carmela was caught off guard, with her face showing a look of horror.
“Carmela, I never knew you had hidden talents!” Keith teased.
“Stop that video, bro!” Kenneth angrily exclaimed when he noticed that he was being recorded.
“D-Dr. Ken, you said it would just be the two of us here, right?” Carmela said with a trembling voice.
“If it weren’t for us, we wouldn’t have seen how you sounded like a pig in your moans!” Jericho taunted.
“I mean it, Brian! Stop that video!”
That’s where the first video ended.
Faye released a deep sigh. “Keith and his friends used that video to coerce Carmela into retracting her accusation. She lied. She initially claimed that Kenneth invited her to retrieve the phone he’d left at the hospital, with the intention of returning it to him. Well, that part is true, though. But her narrative in that video is entirely different. She alleged that the doctor forcibly dragged her and engaged in inappropriate actions.”
“Why did they release the video so late? Why didn’t they use it from the beginning? If they had disclosed it earlier, my husband wouldn’t have endured such a harrowing experience!” Drew exclaimed, with his anger palpable.
“Because it’s clear that they were under the influence of coke,” Orion explained.
“That’s the argument from Keith’s camp. It’s clear in the initial part of the video that they were high on drugs. They’re clean now, according to the drug test. But still…” Faye sighed.
“Brian admitted they R-worded Carmela,” Lily added, looking at the lawyer.
Faye froze, her anxiety mounting as they prepared to play the next video, which, according to Brian, would serve as Carmela’s evidence. It was then that she realized Danica and Kael were not in the room.
“Please play the next video,” the investigator requested, redirecting Lily’s attention.
The clip continued, depicting a scene where Lily’s body quivered with fear. Keith had Carmela in a stranglehold, pinning her to the floor as he persisted in his advances.
“I don’t want to see your ugly face!” the man said as he pushed her face to the floor.
“Stop!!! Kenneth! Please stop your friend! Nooo! Please!” the terrified woman cried out.
Lily clung tightly to Drew and started crying, her body trembling with fear.
“No one will help you, pig!” Jericho jeered.
“You better shut up! Don’t you know that what’s Ken’s is also mine? What’s mine is the same for our other friends,” Keith replied.
“Well, not Lily!”
“That fucker!” Drew wanted to throw a punch at that moment when her name was mentioned.
Kenneth appeared on the screen, seemingly indifferent, sitting on the couch, engrossed in his phone. It seemed as if he were deaf, oblivious to his surroundings. The view returned to Carmela, who appeared as if she were a rag on the floor, crying incessantly.
“It’s your turn, bro! Don’t even glance at her ugly face! That’s the deal,” Keith remarked.
“My turn, princess! You should take pride in the fact that tonight, you won’t just be with Ken, you’ll be favored by four handsome men. Isn’t this your dream?” Jericho laughed, delivering slaps to Carmela’s cheeks as she wept on the floor.
“Hey, Bry! Shove your dick into her mouth! That would be one heck of a sight!” Keith declared, clearly the most sinister among them. “Hey, pig! Do you want both of them at the same time, huh?”
“Screw you all! I’m out!” Brian said, obviously the one with the cellphone, recording everything that was happening.
“Come on! Don’t be a pvssy!”
“Are you still playing the video?” Jericho asked.
The unfolding events had become intolerable. It was clear that Carmela disapproved of what was happening in that place.
“Dr. Ken… this isn’t what I want. Please… all of you! Stay away from me!” The woman was soaked in tears. That marked the end of the video.
Everyone in Lily’s house was left in shock. She trembled as tears flowed, while Drew and Orion clenched their teeth in anger. Faye sat in a chair, speechless, covering her mouth in disbelief.
