Addicted to Luring – Mister, Please Behave

Chapter 93: Rex! I Hate You!

“Aunt? Why are you here?”

When Wendy saw Lindy Gavyn, she was shocked. It had been a long time since they had last met.

Lindy pulled out a chair and sat down. “What? Are you disappointed to see me?”

“Auntie, Wendy didn’t mean that.” Rex sensibly handed a glass of water to Lindy.

Wendy also smiled and said, “I just didn’t expect, I thought that Rex would take me to meet a client.”

“I’m a client too,” Lindy said, curling the corner of her mouth.

While they were talking, Wendy learned that Lindy would return to Australia the day after tomorrow. This meeting was a business meeting and a family farewell.

“I will not take back my shares. However, Rex, I will give you one year to nurture Wendy into Glory Group’s successor. This is my only requirement.”

Wendy almost spat out a mouthful of water when she heard this. If she hadn’t seen Rex’s gaze on her, she would have rejected her outright.

After sending Lindy off, Wendy and Rex stood on the street.

Even though this city was brightly lit and bustling with activity, Wendy still felt a little lonely.

“Aunt has overestimated my ability. Besides, this is an enterprise run by the Gavyn Family. How can you hand it over to me like this?”

Wendy did not believe that Rex would hand the Glory Group over to her. After thinking about it carefully, he just wanted to use her as a pawn to control Cassie Gavyn’s power.

When he was born in this business family, even the family relationship was mixed with interests. She was also like this in the Walters Family

Jenny had bullied her since she was a child. On the surface or secretly., she had bullied her many times.

She knew very well that Rex had regarded her as a fool. It was just that she couldn’t believe and didn’t want to believe what Cassie had told her about exchanging her heart.

No matter how bad Rex was, he shouldn’t have killed her, but…

“What are you thinking about? I called you several times,” Rex held her hand and asked.

Wendy came back to her senses and gently declined Rex’s touch.

“I’m a little tired. I want to go back and rest.”

Rex’s eyes darkened as he said, “I’ll call Clare to pick you up.”

“Where are you going?” Wendy looked up and asked.

“I have something to do. Take care of yourself.”

Wendy looked at Rex’s back as he left, and a trace of doubt rose in her heart. Clare quickly drove over, and she opened the car door and got in.

“Madam, shall we go home?” Clare asked.

Wendy thought for a moment and said, “Let’s go to the hospital.”

“Hospital?”

“Yes, I went to check it out and get the report.”

“Okay.”

The car stopped outside the hospital. Wendy asked Clare to wait for her outside and entered the hospital by herself.

“If my guess is right, if Rex is caught by me again, this time, Rex, we are completely ended!”

Rosaria was forced to stay in the hospital by Cassie and told her about their plan, but she stayed in the hospital from morning to night. Rosaria was a little annoyed.

Hearing the door open, she thought it was a nurse, so she threw the plastic vase on the table. “Get out of here, all of you!”

Rex froze on the spot. He looked at the vase on the ground and raised the corner of his mouth. “What? Who made our little princess angry?”

Rosaria’s expression softened as soon as she heard Rex’s voice. She looked over and asked, “Rex, why are you here?”

“You don’t welcome me? Then I’m leaving?” Rex smiled and sat down beside the bed.

“No, no, no. I miss you so much.” Rosaria hugged him and refused to let go.

Before meeting Lindy in the evening, Cassie sent him a text message, asking him to go and see Rosaria. He had to ask Wendy to go home and then come over himself.

“Alright, that’s enough. How have you been recent?” Rex pushed Rosaria away and asked absent-mindedly.

When Rosaria thought of the plan Cassie had mentioned, an idea came to her mind and she forced herself to cry. “Rex… Actually… I…”

Rex couldn’t bear to see a woman cry, and he still felt pity for Rosaria. He reached out to hold her face and asked with concern, “What’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

“Rex, I shouldn’t have lied to you.” The more Rosaria cried, the more aggrieved she felt, which gave Rex a headache. “What happened?”

Rosaria wiped her tears away and sobbed. ” Actually… I have heart disease.”

Heart disease?

Rex’s heart skipped a beat. “Who told you that?”

” I’ve had it since I was a child. Rex, you don’t have to hide it from me. I know that I’m not the biological daughter of our parents. Now my legs are broken and my heart is not good. Staying in this hospital every day is like being a corpse. It’s better to let me die!”

The wails from the ward attracted Wendy, who was outside. She hid to one side and tiptoed in to take a look.

“Who is there!” Rex noticed the sound behind him. He ignored Rosaria’s cries and hurried out of the ward.

Wendy looked like she had been chased by a wolf. She ran into the stairwell in her high heels.

Wendy was so nervous that her heart was about to jump out of her chest. Rex did something wrong, and why did she have to run away?

What was there to feel guilty about?

Wendy turned around a corner and hid her body. Rex chased her all the way here and stopped walking. In the dark of the night, his figure was cold and straight. Wendy did not even dare to breathe too loudly for fear of being discovered.

Who would have thought that in the next second, when their eyes met, Wendy heard a loud buzz in her head? Her body trembled and her voice changed, “I… I just…”

Rex walked up to her with a cold expression on his face. There was a hint of anger in his indifferent voice. “You followed me again?”

What did he mean by that? She didn’t follow him last time!

“No, I just came to get the report, and then I happened to see you… see you… in her ward.”Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

When Rex was angry, he pursed his lips tightly. He grabbed Wendy’s neck with his cold hand and asked, “Do you know what kind of person I hate most?”

Wendy found it hard to breathe. Her face was so red that she couldn’t say a single word.

“The person like you!” After that, he shook off Wendy. “Didn’t you come to get the report? Where is the report?”

Wendy took deep breaths of fresh air, fear filling her entire body. Her eyes were filled with tears, but she gritted her teeth and prevented them from flowing out.

In the past few days, all the pent-up and restrained emotions had burst out at this moment.

In the narrow and cramped space, Wendy’s crying continued to echo and hit Rex’s heart.

“Rex Gavyn! I hate you!”

He did not understand why things had turned out this way between them.
