Emmanuel’s hand relaxed halfway as he recognized the person before him.
“Mr. Emmanuel?” The woman holding the sword exclaimed, her fear turning to
relief upon realizing he was the one after them. “It’s great to see you again!”
At that moment, Xarri stepped forward. Recognizing Emmanuel immediately
during Quell’s attack, he knew that a confrontation was unnecessary.
Emmanuel’s swift response only deepened Xarri’s admiration.
“Xarri, Quell–why is it you two?” Emmanuel asked; astonished to see them.
“If you’re so pleased to see us, you must be even more thrilled to see them,” Xarri remarked, pointing to Julian and Ashton lying in the bushes. Julian had a broken leg and couldn’t stand, though their injuries were stable after basic
treatment.
“Julian! Ashton!” Emmanuel called out, his excitement at finding them mixed
with hope that it would lead him to Roselynn.

“Emmanuel, you’re finally here! I knew you’d come to rescue us!” Julian cried
with joy upon seeing him.

Ashton rolled her eyes. “Why are you crying? You didn’t shed a tear when
Gwain almost killed us earlier!”
Emmanuel quickly inquired, “Gwain? Why did he try to kill you? And where’s
Roselynn?”
“They forced us to recite the ‘Dragon Tome‘ to take it from us,” Julian
explained. “We didn’t manage to get through much of it, and in the chaos,
Roselynn managed to escape. We don’t know where she is now.”
Julian and Ashton then quickly briefed Emmanuel on what had happened.
This is making me panicked. Is Gwain really such a hypocrite? Am I truly on par with such a man? If Roselynn falls into his hands, she could be in grave danger! Moreover, the four people with him were unmistakably Teddy’s Four Great Envoys, even more brutal than Gwain.

“Sage!” Emmanuel called out. “Send up a signal flare immediately to alert the
Wolf Warrior brothers to escort Julian and his sister to a safe location!”
“Yes, Commander!” Sage responded, setting off to execute the orders.
Tuming to Xarri and the others, Emmanuel said, “I’ll search for Roselynn in the
Ancient Woods. You can handle your own affairs.”
“We can help you!” Xarri insisted, unwilling to leave despite having other
important matters to attend to. They decided to stay with Emmanuel and
assist with the search.
After scouring the Ancient Woods for two days and nights without finding any trace of Roselynn, Sage reported, “Despite our exhaustive search, we haven’t found any sign of her. It’s very likely she’s no longer here.”
Emmanuel’s expression grew serious. If not for the birth of his son, Roselynn
would have been his only surviving family. Even though I usually remain calm, it’s hard not to feel intense anxiety in this situation.
“Commander, should we leave some Wolf Warrior members here to continue

the search while we head to Eldoria?” Sage suggested. “If Roselynn isn’t in the
Ancient Woods, she must be in Eldoria!”
After a moment’s thought, Emmanuel agreed, “Let’s go!” Traveling at full
speed, he reached Eldoria within a day.
Sage explained, “Eldoria lies next to Zovince and acts as its gateway. While Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
not large, it is highly developed and surpasses Yeringham in many ways. The
city is under the control of three major families, with the Quill family holding
the most power due to their alliance with Teddy.”
He added, “The Stewart family and the Fletcher family also wield significant
influence. Notably, the Fletcher family controls telecommunications and
transportation. With their help, locating anyone in Eldoria should be relatively
easy!”
Emmanuel nodded. “Alright, let’s head to the Fletcher family right away!” Determined to find Roselynn as quickly as possible, he wasn’t concerned about whether the Fletcher family welcomed him.

At that, Sage quickly drove Emmanuel over to the Fletcher family, where
there was a mansion that rivaled the Quillen residence in grandeur. Alert
guards patrolled the area, and many of them were martial artists possessing
internal strength.
