A Virgin for A Cold Billionaire

Party But Empty Inside

Alexander Arlan Ainsley POV

"Alex, are you okay? What happened to you?"

I was at a nightclub, precisely in a private room that was booked with three friends. I was mainly silent and had no appetite to do anything else except sipping my alcohol. Two girls accompanied them, while I refused to be accompanied because the girls were not attractive at all.

I had been staring at the glass of sparkling wine and could only shake my head. I had no interest in verbally answering the question from one of my friends. The noisy music continued to play, but it all seemed meaningless, as if something was missing in my life.

My mind was drawn to a girl named Arletta McDowell for unknown reasons. What was that girl doing? Was she okay? I wanted to kiss her more. Shit! I could not take my mind off her! I did not believe in supernatural things, but I had never had this weird feeling for a long time.

"Hey, dude! Why are you so quiet? Do you have a problem at the office?"

A different voice asked, and I shook my head again. I usually liked hearing music like this, even in a private room, but now it was different. Arletta, what did you do to me? What kind of magic have you cast so that I keep remembering you? "I warn you; it is useless for you to talk to Alex. He must be remembering someone."

I knew very well who the voice belonged to, but I ignored it and glanced at the watch on my right wrist. It was already midnight. Why was time spinning so slowly? Why was I so anxious? I had not gotten any news about Arletta for a few hours. I never felt this way before.

"Really? You have got to be kidding me!"

I wanted to get up from the couch and leave this damn place, but I could not yet do that. Was Louis starting to move and find information about my girl? It should have been like that, and I could only wait for his report. I wanted to know more details about Arletta. That girl was so exciting, and I wanted to explore anything about her.

"Yeah. You can try to ask Alex, and he will tell you about that."

I snorted softly, even though Francois had been told that Arletta would be introduced after she became my girl. Fortunately, the music in the club was louder, so they could not hear the sound of my snorting. I was forced to turn toward my two friends. I could see that they were very curious about my situation. The girls accompanying them also simultaneously turned to me.

"What do you want to know?" I asked my friend without any preamble.

"Is what Frans said true?" Brandon answered my question with another question.

I glanced at Francois with an expressionless look. Instead, he laughed, which annoyed me. It was useless to get angry because it would not solve the problem. I turned back to Brandon.

"Yeah, he was right." That was my only reply to Brandon.

"Wow! Tell us her name!" said Brandon excitedly.

Brandon's face showed admiration as if he had heard some rare news. Francois ruined everything. If I dared to mention Arletta's name when we were not yet in an official relationship, then it would be the same as embarrassing me. What if my approach to that girl fails? Wouldn't that hurt me more? Where would I put my pride?

"I will tell you later."

In my position, being safe with my answer was better than ruining the primary goal. I did not want the plans that had been made to go awry. No matter what, Arletta must be mine!

Brandon's face had a disappointed look, but I knew it would only last for a short while because he must have been trying in various ways to hear Arletta's name mentioned by me. "Why do you want to tell us later? You can tell us now." See? Was that not what I thought? Francois caused all these problems, and I could not get angry directly because Dylan and Brandon were there. The six women who accompanied my friends did not count because, to me, they were cheap whores.

"Instead of saying her name, I will introduce my girl to you, but not now."

I quickly sipped the sparkling wine in my glass and did not want to continue the silly conversation about Arletta. I had never brought up a girl, let alone mentioned the opposite sex, so the topic of discussion was indeed uncomfortable for me. "When are you going to do that? I want to see the special woman who conquered your heart. She is the lucky girl."

I could understand why Brandon said that, but everything needs a process. There was no way Arletta could be my girl when we just met this afternoon. Anything in this world took time to blossom, as did the relationship between my special girl and me.

"Soon."

Yeah. I was sure that Arletta would eventually become mine, but now I had to find all the essential information about her, including her boyfriend's name. I wanted to know who was my rival. Besides, I tried to find a way to get closer to my special lady.

The music was still coming from outside. I placed my empty glass on the table and looked to my left. There, a uniformed server was ready to serve us if we wanted to add more drinks or order food. I raised my hand, and the server saw the hand gesture and walked towards me.

When the waiter was already on my left, I suddenly felt my phone vibrate, so I made a hand gesture asking him to wait. I searched for the phone, and after getting it, I saw a familiar name on the screen.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

"It is interesting. I hope I get what I want," I muttered and mindlessly answered the phone call.

Me: "Hello?"

I spoke in a rather loud voice because the music was so noisy. If it were not like this, then the person on the phone would not be able to hear my voice. Did he get the news about my special girl? I hoped so. I could not wait to get the great news!

Louis Movena: "Hello, boss. I just sent you a report on Miss Arletta."

Finally! I have been waiting for this! My girl's information was worth more than a million dollars for me!

Me: "Great!"

I smiled unconsciously, unable to hide my happiness. Arletta, wait for me, dear.

Louis Movena: "I apologize for not having enough information at the moment, boss. I will try to gather more."

I spontaneously shook my head, even though I knew that my trusted person would not be able to see that. I could not wait to read what data Louis had collected.

Me: "It is okay. When you get more clues, you can send the report to me as soon as possible."

Louis Movena: "Noted, Boss."

Suddenly, I felt something touching my left shoulder. Without thinking, I turned to it and saw a beautiful woman wearing a red mini-dress. She smiled, but I immediately snorted.

How did this fucking whore come to be, anyway? Maybe one of my three friends invited her? Damn! They were so such traitors!

"Hello, Alex. Long time no see you."
