Chapter 456 Do You Want To Be A Mistress

Sophia reflexively placed her hands on Charles's arm while she was speaking.

As Sophia got closer, the scent of her perfume was so strong that Charles could hardly breathe.

Charles couldn't stand both Sophia's nauseating fragrance and her shameless actions.

"Who do you think you are to call me 'Charles'? Paul, see to it that she learns the rules and knows how

to behave."

Right after he finished speaking, Charles swayed his arm and shook off Sophia's hands, and then he

went straight into his car and closed the door. Sophia tried to open the door and get in the car, only to

find that it was locked.

Paul walked to Sophia's side, looking straight into Sophia's eyes, and said in a polite but firm manner,

"Why? I'm not just any employee. I'm Sophia Liu. I'm his friend. How is calling him Charles

inappropriate?" Sophia hadn't seen Charles for a while. She didn't expect that Charles would treat her

want to have anything to do with Sophia, so he simply told her what she should do. Since Charles had

already clearly defined his professional relationship with Sophia, Paul just wanted to let her understand

that she was no more than a mere employee to Charles.

"What if I insist on calling him 'Charles'? What would you do?" Sophia believed that Charles wouldn't do

anything to her since she was one of the most famous artists in their entertainment companies at the

moment. She was a popular singer and a well-known actress. She was currently the number one

celebrity handled by the Mu's Group.

Paul ignored what Sophia had said and kept walking to the car. Sophia got furious when Paul left even

before she finished talking to him, so she shouted, "Where are you going? I haven't finished talking yet!

Although Sophia's remarks were egregious, Paul didn't want to come into any conflict with her, so he

got into the car without saying anything. Paul was driving Charles to ZJ Province personally.

"What did that woman shout just now? Did she curse you? I heard the word 'lapdog'." Charles looked

Although Paul didn't need to work in the office, he had been Charles's private assistant for several

years. He was one of the several vice CEOs in the Mu's Group, and he was directly under Charles. In

Charles's car. Since they were going to the same event, she thought that Charles would agree to drive

her there. Sophia would never think that he would refuse to go with her even after she had waited for

them in the parking lot.

She had no choice but to get into the car arranged by Leo, her agent. Then, she asked the driver to

follow Charles's car.

Sophia was really mad this time. She had waited for Charles for a long while, but he barely say a word

to her before he had left. It was difficult for her to come across Charles, so she only had a few

opportunities. This would have been her chance to get closer to him, but Charles hardly looked at her

did for her. He was simply her ex-boyfriend from university.

Leo had thought it through, and he was fine with just being her friend. All he wanted was to stay right

beside her. He wanted to take care of her, and that was enough for him.

Leo knew well that Sophia didn't love him, but he was also certain that he was still madly in love with

her.

Sophia was so upset that she lit a cigarette and started smoking, but Leo took the cigarette from her

immediately and said, "You're not feeling well. You can't smoke."
