Chapter 448 I Will Always Be With You

After hearing what Emily Wang had said, Linda Xia finally felt relieved.

Based on what he had done, Jerome Liu was a despicable monster, unworthy of becoming a teacher.

"My Lady, Young Master is home." As Linda was about to say something more to Emily Wang, a

servant came in and informed her that Charles Mu had come back.

Emily Wang turned around, wondering how Ms. Xia's husband looked like, and upon seeing him, she

"This is Emily, a student from my school. Her parents passed away when she was very young, so ever

since her parents' deaths, she had lived with her vile and wretched uncle and aunt, so I brought her

home with me. She will take the college entrance exam next month!"

"I see, honey, " said Charles Mu. He regarded her as the queen of the house, and he never intervened

in whatever she wanted to do. That included hosting a guest in their home and having said guest stay

with them.

Charles Mu had been worried about Linda Xia feeling lonely after Bun had left. Even though Anna Xu

was still here, she wasn't as close to Linda Xia as Bun was. She was a doctor, and she didn't have

much common interests with Linda Xia.

Emily Wang stared at Charles Mu for quite a while, and it finally dawned on her that Linda Xia's

husband was the boss of the Mu's Group. She remembered seeing him on a business channel on TV

before.

"You… You are Young Master Mu, aren't you?"

Charles Mu slightly nodded his head as the answer to her question.

He wasn't a sociable person, so he made that gesture to try to be polite since she was Linda Xia's

guest.

"Oh my goodness, you are Young Master Mu! Ms. Xia, you have married a good man! You must be

very happy to be the wife of Young Master Mu. Am I right?"

Upon hearing what Emily Wang had said, Charles Mu grinned with delight. "Emily Wang, right?" asked

Charles Mu.

"Yes, that's my name."

"Make yourself at home! Just tell Linda if you need anything."

Emily Wang didn't eat much. She left the table soon and went back to her room to study and prepare

for the exam. She was determined to live up to Linda Xia's expectations and pass the exam with flying

There were only three weeks left before the college entrance exam. Emily Wang didn't have much time

left to review, and when it came to studying for it, she could only rely on her own efforts. There was

nothing that Linda Xia could do to help, other than to wish her good luck.

After a few days of staying at the Mu's villa, Emily Wang gradually became friends with Anna Xu. She

admired Anna Xu so much that she decided to study medicine when she would enter college.

During this crucial time, Emily Wang studied very hard with the ambition of being a doctor.

Days had passed peacefully since Ron took Jerome Liu to the police station. After careful investigation,

Jerome Liu was accused of corruption. It turned out that he had embezzled a great amount of financial

aid from the school, which was supposed to help poor students finish their education.

Therefore, he was put in jail. Linda Xia didn't ask Ron how many years he was sentenced with, for she

believed that the court would make a fair and proper decision, and she also believed that Ron would

take care of it and bring justice to Emily Wang.

The day of the college entrance exam arrived in no time. Linda Xia was really concerned about Emily

Wang and John Li.

But she didn't say anything because she didn't want to stress them out. As long as they gave their all

during the exam, they would get good marks.

Another good new was that Linda found out that she was expecting twins. With two babies inside her

womb, Linda Xia's belly looked huge now. She went to the hospital to have a prenatal examination

again, accompanied by her entire family.

They all agreed to keep the sex of the twins a surprise until the delivery. No matter if they would be

boys or girls, Charles and Linda would still love them and cherish them with all of their hearts.

July came, and the sweltering heat of summer was too intense. Linda Xia didn't go to school anymore,

for her belly was becoming bigger and bigger, causing her to get tired easily. Also, because of the hot

weather, she was easily irritated by small things, so it was best for her to stay at home.

Emily Wang didn't move out after the exam. The results of the exam hadn't come out yet, so she didn't

know which school she had been accepted into. She had applied to a medical school because she had

made up her mind to become a doctor like Anna Xu.

for travelling with me, " said Lisa Xia, wearing sunglasses while holding Robert Huo's hands. They

"It's okay, baby. I love spending time with you. I hope this trip had cheered you up and cleared your

mind. Let's get married when we get home, all right? I'll publicly announce our engagement to the world

Robert Huo gently caressed Lisa Xia's head.
