John nodded with a smile, grabbed an egg, knocked it on the desk and peeled the shell slowly, saying,

“Okay. I have promised you that I will buy you an island to enjoy yourself.”

Lily finally realized there was something wrong and asked, “Do you mean we are the only people on

that island?”

Then she rubbed her temple and tried to recall what happened last night, asking, “Did you do

something on the car last night? I started to feel sleepy after smelling the slight violet smell.”

John didn’t reply and continued peeling the egg.

Lily was a bit frustrated when seeing him behave in this way. However, she still asked to took a chance,

“Did you also lie about the Jessie’s thing?”

John placed the peeled egg in her plate and said, “Have breakfast first. We will discuss about it later.”

Seeing Lily was being resistant, John adjusted his glasses and whispered, “I am sorry, Lily.”

John curled up his lip and said in a low voice with upset, replying, “Haven’t you found that you have a

special feeling towards Louis? Do you think you will remember after you deliver the baby? You will be

by his side at that time.”

promised.

John grabbed a tissue to weep the left soup around her mouth and said, “Louis booked that diamond

leave you.”

John shook his head and said, “The virus spread really fast. He doesn’t have any other way.”

John comforted her, “She will find you again if she wants to kill you. Both me and Louis are happy that

she’s dead.”

John rubbed her cheek and said, “I know I don’t have too much time and want to make up for you.

That’s why I bring you to your favourite place.”

“I build a villa here on this island with your preferred decoration. I just hope you can enjoy your time.

This place has a warm weather and it’s good for you to have a rest.”
