Chapter 525: How Can She Just Forget It?

He opened the door and let a woman in, but he didn't even look at Lily.

"Louis, don't you know why?" Chandler says calmly, "The food tastes bad. The noodles are just too

mild. Is it because of the beef? So Lily cries?"

Louis casts an angry glance at Chandler.

"I'm not a good cook." Louis admits, looking embarrassed, "I thought it should be fine to follow the

steps. I didn't expect that.... Then don't eat the noodles. I'll take you out to eat something else."

Chandler can't help but raise his hand and whisper, "Louis, I want to go, too. I want to eat braised

prawns."

Louis ignores Chandler and thinks of just taking Lily out since she doesn't like the noodles.

Unexpectedly, Lily stops crying and changes her aggrieved face to a cold one, pushing Louis' hand

away.

She's changing too fast.

With his hand stopping in the air, Louis doesn't know what to do.

A few minutes later, she finishes the beef noodles and puts down the chopsticks, saying

with indifference, "Mr. Smith, thank you for the noodles. Chandler will wash the bowls."

"Lily." Louis frowns. He doesn't like her being detached.

"There may be some misunderstanding. We need to talk."

Lily forces a smile, "There is no misunderstanding, Mr. Smith. You have explained everything that

needs explaining. Thank you, Mr. Smith, for the noodles. I will show you the door."

She pushes away her chair and stands up. Then, she walks towards the door, opens it, and stands

there waiting.

Chandler gets dumbfounded.

'Lily kicks Louis out just because the noodles he cooks taste not good?'

Chandler whispers to Louis, "Louis, look at how terrible the noodles you cooked are. Lily gets so angry

that she kicks you out. Just apologize to her."

Louis knows that Lily's attitude towards him is not because the noodles are unpleasant to eat. And she

cries probably because she recalls the past.

It is because he didn't care about her feelings in the past that the misunderstanding between them gets

deep.

Louis does not say anything. He picks up his coat as he passes by the living room.

Then, Louis looks down at her, who's wearing an indifferent face and keeps a distance from him. He

sighs in his heart, "You and Chandler go to bed earlier. I will go home."

"Okay." Lily says calmly and doesn't even look at him, "Mr. Smith, goodbye."

As soon as Louis steps out, Lily shuts the door behind him.

It's like she doesn't want him here in the first place.

He knows that Lily is stubborn and that it's no use staying. It's better that he figures out how to make

amends first. Therefore, he doesn't say anything.

However, Louis does not go home. He takes the elevator to Chloe's place.

Coffey opens the door. He is wearing pajamas and looks like an old man, taking a deep look at Louis.

"Did you have an unpleasant conversation with my sister?"

"Yes. She kicked me out." Louis walks into the room through Coffey's side.

Louis goes straight to the living room and sits down on the sofa, rubbing his aching temples with his

fingers.

Coffey pours some soda water, bring it over on the table, and sits down opposite Louis, "Shouldn't you

go home since my sister doesn't like to see you? You are here to ask me for some help?"

"Come sit down. I'll order takeout."

Coffey doesn't know what to say.

The corner of Coffey's mouth twitches, "Mr. Smith, if you want to eat takeout, can't you go home?"

"No." As Louis clicks the takeout application, he says emotionlessly, "I don't want to go home. I just

want to eat here."

Coffey thinks that it's normal for Louis to be angry now since he and Lily didn't have a good

conversation.

Therefore, he doesn't argue with Louis.

Coffey asks Louis, "I heard that there are some problems in Country XL. Do you want me to go over

and help?"

"Kay is over there. It's fine." Having ordered the takeout, Louis drinks some soda water, "He's been

following you. If you go there, he will know who you are."

Coffey nods and says in a serious tone, "I didn't expect Mrs. Lou to be so ruthless and do that to Mr.

Daniel."

"Who would know that? Even a vicious tiger will not eat its cubs." Louis is exhausted, leaning his head

against the sofa.

After a while, Louis takes out his phone, finds a photo, and pushes the phone to Coffey.

someone else."

After a pause, he asks Coffey, "Do you hate me ... because of Chloe?"

Coffey turns his head to look at the tightly closed door of the bedroom and shakes his head, "It's my

fault. I did not take good care of her. And I want to thank you for your decisiveness and for not holding

any grudges against me."

Louis sighs deeply.

It's not possible that he doesn't hold any grudges.

At that time, he dared to shoot Lily and had the urge to kill Coffey.

"Louis, you were so handsome when you took the bride away in the church!" Chloe says with

excitement, "Is Lily touched? Did she say anything?"

Thinking Coffey annoying, Louis frowns, "This is not something you should focus on."

"It seems that you had an unpleasant conversation with Lily." Chloe rolls her eyes at Louis and mutters,

"Listen to your tone. If I were Lily, I wouldn't choose you!"
