John walks to Lily and praises with a smile, "You look stunning."

He asks Louis, "Mr. Smith, do you think my wife looks good in this wedding dress?"

Louis looks at her and says coldly, "No. It's sleeveless. It makes her arms fleshy."

Lily doesn't know what to say.

"My wife is pregnant and has gained some weight. It's normal for her arms to look fleshy." John

chuckles. "This wedding dress looks good on plump women. Manager, don't you think so?"

"Yes, yes." The manager hurriedly nods, sweating profusely on her forehead.

She has read a lot about the recent entertainment news. She also knows about the gossip about Lily

and Louis. She thinks Lily is super lucky to have met so many important figures, and to even marry one

of them.

She didn't expect Louis to come to the shop.

On the other hand, Chloe has picked out a wedding dress to try it on. She walks out of the fitting room

and looks in the mirror for a long time. She feels fabulous. When she sees Lily, she runs over excitedly.

"Lily, this wedding dress looks so good on you. It makes you even more beautiful!" Chloe only hugs her

lightly since Lily is pregnant.

Lily stares at the wedding dress on Chloe in confusion. "Why are you...? Chloe, why are you trying on a

wedding dress?"

"Louis asked me to," Chloe says. Then she lifts her skirt and twirls in front of her. "How is it? Isn't it very

nice? I took a fancy to this one at a glance!"

Louis asked her to try on a wedding dress?

Lily's expression changes slightly. "Who are you marrying?"

"Louis has arranged everything for me!" Afraid that what Louis says next will make Lily misunderstand,

Chloe tries to be smart and replies before he can, "That's why he brought me here to pick out a

wedding dress!"

"Chloe," Louis says unhappily, "be quiet."

Chloe rolls her eyes at him.

She was only speaking for Louis. How could he blame her for being overly talkative!

Louis really thinks that Chloe has said too much. But to Lily, what he said means something else. It

reminds her of what Louis said when she went to find Chloe before.

"You love your brother, and I love Chloe."

"Something so serious has happened. I haven't settled the score with him yet. How could you ask, what

about him?"

"Then let me tell you, as long as he appears here, I can't guarantee what I will do!"

"If she forgets about Coffey, she can start a better life and meet someone who loves her more."

Thinking of all this, Lily gets upset.

John agrees and goes downstairs to pay the bill.

"Mr. John, here you are." The manager returns his card to him and says apologetically, "But the paper

for the receipt is used up. How about I give it to you when you come to get the wedding dress?"

"No problem." John puts the card back in his pocket and leaves the studio with Lily.

Once they left, the cashier finally can't help but say, "Manager, you swiped another card, not Mr. John's.

I hinted you."

"I knew." The manager tears the receipt and snaps, "Less talk and more work!"

"Yes, Manager."

When Chloe comes out of the fitting room in another wedding dress, there is only a shop assistant

around.

"Have you seen Mr. Smith?" she asks the shop assistant.

The shop assistant replies, "Mr. Smith said that he had to deal with something. He said you could take

a cab home."

Chloe instantly gets angry and snorts, "This is outrageous! He asked me out, but he left me here alone.

I'm so mad!"

"Pack the wedding dress in the fitting room!" Chloe instructs the shop assistant, "Swipe Mr. Smith's

card!"

"Sorry, Miss Chloe, Mr. Smith didn't leave a card here."

Chloe says nothing.

She just curses Louis over and over again inside.

She gloomily goes back into the fitting room to change into her own clothes. When she comes out, the

shop assistant is talking to a man. She stares at the tall man and takes a closer look.

"Old pervert, are you following me?" Chloe glares at him. "Didn't I tell you to stay at home?"

"Mr. Smith sent me to pick you up."

"I don't need it. I have my legs and I can walk!" Chloe is full of anger. When she is about to leave, she

comes back and looks at him. "Do you have your card on you? How much do you have on it?"

Steven answers, "Yes, Miss Chloe, but what do you want to buy?"

"You do?" Chloe sounds excited. "Louis must pay you handsomely. Use your card to buy me a wedding

dress. I'll pay you back when I get home!"
