” Why did you leave immediately without a good notice?” Dae asked me on the phone as we both discussed.

” Something came up, so I had to leave” Immediately after I said those words, Bryan walked in with a frown on his face as I cut off the call.

” I will call you later,” I said before cutting off the call.

” What is it? Bryan” I asked him as he walked closer to me with the same frown on his face.

” What were you doing at the restaurant yesterday ?” He asked as my heart flew up to the air. My heart began to beat fast with my guilty conscience hitting me hard while my words just hid themselves deep down within me.

” Me… You saw me? Where? How’s that even possible?” I asked as I reacted as if I was so confused and behaved as if what he said sounded so complicated to me. I just stood up behaving as if I was lost in his words still giving a confused look while I was busy looking for a good lie to tell him.

” I saw you in the restaurant” he yelled at me which made fear come into my body immediately.

” Am sure you saw someone who was like my look alike; I guess,” I stammered as I said the words with fear within me. I was so scared of how Bryan reacted to what he was saying, he took his words so seriously to me.

” Are you trying to say am lying or something?” Bryan asked as he chuckled with a sign of evil to me as my palm just became so wet and anxiety filled me up within a second still with fear deep down in me.

” No… No am not saying so” I broke down my words with dear adjusting back a little bit.

” Hmmmm” I reacted like a deaf person who just lifted his hand as if he wanted to hit me and I closed my eyes with fear in me.

” You are so useless” he yelled at me as fear gripped my heart immediately.

I glanced at him with fear as I tried to walk out of him. As soon as I did I ran down to the sitting room with fear deep in me with his words to me which sounded so harsh and could cause me a trauma of a lifetime.

As I was still down with fear my phone rang out which made my heart skip I’m a more increased fear. As soon as I checked who it was I quickly picked it up without double thought or fear.

” Good afternoon ” I greeted my mother with a nice tune.

” Am outside your house come open up the door ” she said as she cut off the call. I walked outside the house to see my mom standing outside. I ran quickly and hugged her with a smirk calling up the security man to pick up her bag and take it in. Myself and my mom walked into the large sitting room.

” Mom, how are you doing?” I asked her as I smiled at her and she returned the same expression ” So wonderful” she replied with a laugh as Bryan walked down the staircase walking close to myself and my mom. I changed my sitting position going to sit close to my mom as he approached us with a smile.

” Good day ma’am, ” he smiled as he came close to my mother I just tried hiding my face away from him.” You didn’t give us a notice before coming,” he said as he sat opposite direction, and Mom. I just stood up from the sofa interrupting my mom’s words.

” Mom, let me go get you something,” I said as I tried walking out of both my mom and Bryan. As soon as I made a few steps to walk out I heard Bryan’s voice.

” Just call up a maid instead of you stressing yourself,” Bryan said to me as I turned around glancing at both my mom and Bryan.

” She’s my mom and I want to serve her myself,” I said looking at Bryan as my mom just sat comfortably looking at the drama we presented to her.

” I know she’s your mom but you aren’t meant to stress yourself I would go get her what she wants, so you could talk with her,” Bryan said as he stood up and walked closer to them my mom just kept on laughing at us both.

” She’s my mom so I’m meant to serve her,” I said to him as he romantically held on my hands.

” She’s my mother-in-law and we share both right” Bryan said as he made me sit down on the sofa with his manly strength which I just had to smile even when it hurt me hard.
