True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2183

Chapter 2183

Smiling, Gary held Celeste's hand as they continued walking forward.

"So you still think Mr. Trevino is more suitable for Sylvia, huh?"

Celeste nodded. "Yes, you think so too, don't you?" "So, does that mean you're following your man's choices now?" He turned to look at Celeste with a tender smile.

She blushed. "C'mon, how can you make fun of me?"

"You look so pretty when you blush." He sincerely thought it felt amazing to regain his love.

Her head lowered, Celeste felt even more self-conscious now at his words, not daring to look at him anymore.

She didn't ask him about Janice or how he settled the matter. They had never talked about her since that last discussion, so she didn't know if Janice was still in Northern City or had returned to Boston.

Chigo had already left when they returned from their stroll.

Sebastian was nowhere to be seen too, probably with Chigo.

Later, Gary brought Celeste to visit his greatgrandfather. Delighted to meet Celeste, William gave her a big gift.

The two of them accompanied him for lunch happily.

In the blink of an eye, nine days passed. Lowell decided to go back to Boston. When he brought it up, Gary added, "Celeste and I should go back too; we should take the same flight."

"The three of us?" Lowell thought he was just going to be an awkward third wheel.

Though hesitant, he still decided it would be better if he flew solo.

"Yeah," Gary said.

"I don't want to be a third wheel," Lowell mumbled.

Gary may have looked indifferent on the outside, but he knew Lowell had been hiding from him lately.

Although Lowell was happy every time he saw the couple together, he'd leave right after a quick greeting as if he was avoiding them.

Gary had a good idea why he'd do so as he had been feeling guilty about being the indirect cause of the couple's break up.

However, logically speaking, the Janice incident had nothing to do with Lowell at all.

After experiencing so much, Gary had become much more mature, no longer letting his emotions do the thinking for him.

He sat down and thought about a lot of things, reflecting over and over again during Celeste's departure.

He thought he was the problem in their relationship. In the end, everything had to do with him and not any external factors.

So it was no one else's fault, much less Lowell's.

Fortunately, he reconciled with Celeste, and it was all history.

But Lowell was still avoiding them even until now. Gary could understand he probably feared anything he said might lead to their another breakup. Seeing how badly Lowell was avoiding them, Gary thought he was once bitten, twice shy.

It seemed to have scarred him deeply; that wasn't good.

Hence, his suggestion to fly to Boston together was so that their relationship would go back to how it was before and not deliberately avoid each other like that, or everyone would feel awkward.

"Have you forgotten there'll be plenty of others as well in that flying contraption? You won't be the only third wheel there," Gary said, "Or do you want Celeste and me to book the entire plane?"

Stumped, Lowell said with a smile, "If possible, I suggest you do that."

As far as he knew, Gary had earned a lot on his own, so it'd be nothing even if he took a private jet.

"Am I the type of person to do something like that?" Gary retorted.

Lowell shrugged and said, "C'mon, walk a mile in my shoes. Do you know how awkward things get when I see you two all lovey-dovey when I'm all alone?"

"Don't give me your shoot. If you are a man, face it head on instead of trying to run away all the time." Gary rebuked, "Don't think I don't know what's on your mind. It's all in the past now, don't give yourself so much burden. It has nothing to do with you."Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Looking straight into Gary's eyes, Lowell felt touched.

He tugged lightly at the corner of his lips and looked away, not wanting Gary to see him in such a state.

However, Gary was still able to see his reddened eyes.

However, he didn't comfort Lowell but said commanding^, "The three of us will take the same flight. Leave the tickets to me."

Before Lowell could say anything, Gary had already walked away.

Gawking at his retreating figure, Lowell felt a warm feeling rise from the depths of his heart.

He knew very well that Gary's insistence was to let him know he should burden himself with unnecessary pressure and that their matters had nothing to do with him.

However, he also knew clearly he didn't draw a clear line.

He didn't stop Janice even when he knew she had feelings for Gary.

It was this unintentional indulgence that allowed her to take advantage of that situation.

How on earth could he not feel guilty?

However, Lowell thought he shouldn't hide anymore, receiving warmth and care from his loved ones right then.

What he should do from then on was to know what principles to stand by so he wouldn't be taken advantage of again. That was how he should approach his family.

While running away would only turn them into familiar strangers.

He really should be braver and more magnanimous; only could he live up to Gary's care for him.

Returning to his room, Gary

discussed with Celeste that they should all fly together when Lowell decided to leave for Boston alone. "I thought we should book the same flight; what do you say?"

Celeste nodded. "Let's do that. I always thought it was especially lonely for Uncle Lowell to take the flight alone. Plus, it's such a long journey, and he doesn't have anyone to talk to."

Celeste understood Gary's feelings and decision completely. After all, he was Gary's uncle, and she felt gratified he was able to consider Lowell's feelings.

In all honesty, Gary had really changed.

He was now beginning to consider everyone's feelings. It was a good start.

"Then, I'll book tickets for the three of us, okay?"

"Okay, that works for me." Celeste blinked, putting on a gentle smile.

With that, Gary booked a flight for them to leave the next day.

Learning of their plan, Grace was very reluctant to watch them leave, but she knew their studies came first and that they should go back.

Before the trio were to head for Boston, the family got together for a lively farewell dinner; even Leah came.

As they left to catch their flight, Heinz had Ernest and Leah bring Sebastian and Sylvia along to send them off while he would accompany Grace at home.

As Grace's belly was getting larger by the day, her children didn't let her send them off, seeing it was getting more difficult for her to move around. After sending their children away, the originally lively house immediately felt deserted.

The husband and wife were the only ones left in the massive villa, and the whole place quieted down at once.

Grace looked at Heinz and said, "The house has gone back to being quiet now that our children are gone."

"But I'm here, aren't I?" Heinz comforted her with a gentle tone, "What kind of noise do you want?"

Grace darted a sideways glance at her husband at that.

Then she caressed her belly with longing in her eyes, sighing as she said, "Perhaps having these two is the right choice."

"Of course, it is. Our lives for the next two decades will be lively at least." Heinz was all emotional, though he worried the pregnancy was getting to herdf giving birth wasn't such a laborious task, he would really want to have more children with her.

"We will really be old by the time these two grow up." Grace thought they'd be in their sixties by the time this set of twins grew up.

"We're only truly mature in our sixties. That's when life starts." Heinz said.

"Yeah, right. I'm already feeling old now." Grace thought her pregnancy this time was obviously a lot harder than her last two.

Her bodily functions were no longer as great as they used to be in her twenties.

"Honey, you are not old at all. You are still young and beautiful." Heinz genuinely didn't think his beloved was getting on in years but that she was more mature now. She had the calmness and steadiness she lacked back in her twenties; it perfected her.
