“Thankkkk… youuuu, Alphaaaaa Calvinnnn” Ethlyn slurred after trying a lot of drinks after drinking all three types of tequila, Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo. She started feeling a bit dizzy after trying everything. That was when she realized that she was indeed trapped. She realized the fact that Calvin had realized it a long time ago.

After that, she started drinking everything in anger, in pain, in confusion, and in tension, thinking, what now?

She just couldn’t go and grabbed Nathan’s neck without any proof. He was an Alpha, not just a normal werewolf whom she just could beat the shit out of him. While she was spending her time wasting herself on Alcohol, Calvin used his mind and sources to get figure out what to do next.

“Stop thanking me. Let’s go.” Calvin said in irritation, trying to make her stand, but she wasn’t even able to stand on her feet.

He sighed and carried her in his arms before mind-linking Lemieux to close the door of his house. Calvin didn’t leave the pack that late; instead, he visited Lemieux’s place because he had a hobby of keeping a collection of all types of drinks from all ages.

“Thannnkkk youuu, Alphaa!!!!” Ethlyn thanked him again and giggled.

“Stop giggling. Is this how a mother should act? This is what you’re going to teach Rose? Huh?” He asked in anger shutting her mouth. She blinked her eyes a couple of times before speaking.

“Rose doesn’t have to… learn anything from me. Nor can I te.. teach her anything because she has the best father in the whole world.” She said with a smile and pinched Calvin’s cheek. “I’m jealous that you have… have left no space for me in her life.”

“That’s not true,” Calvin responded, not knowing that these things were going on in Ethlyn’s mind. “I have raised Rose, and I know that she wants you in her life.”

“Just for you,” Ethlyn said, recalling her conversation with Roselet. “She told me so. And you don’t want me.”

“You are thinking too much,” Calvin said, making her lie on the bed. “We will talk about it tomorrow, okay?” Saying this, he was about to leave when Ethlyn wrapped her hand around his neck.

“We won’t talk because all you will do is scold me for drinking so much, and you might use this as a reason to show how irresponsible I am as a mother role!!” Ethlyn pouted after speaking this. Calvin studied her face closely, and then his eyes landed on her lips.

“Is it tempting?” Ethlyn asked, and a playful smile appeared on her lips.

“Not that much. I have seen more beautiful lips than this one.” Calvin responded back. He tried to move away from her, but Ethlyn tightened her grip around his neck. “Eth…. Cinder” He looked at her face and realized it was her wolf.

“What are you doing, Cinder? Let me go.” Calvin said before his wolf took control of his body.

“Sleep with me.” She spoke, giving goosebumps to Calvin.

“Bu…”

“Ssshh!!” She placed her finger on Calvin’s lips. “I will go crazy because of the sexual tension between us because of your mark. So, sleep with me.” With this, she pulled him forcefully, making him fall on her, and his lips touched her nose.

Calvin quickly moved away and lay down on the bed beside her, maintaining some distance. But Cinder wasn’t Ethlyn; she reached near him and snuggled into his chest, placing her hand on his waist.

Calvin tried to sleep but couldn’t. His mind was busy thinking about various things. He didn’t realize it was around four already until he felt someone trying to mind-link him.

‘Will be there in five minutes.’ He said before closing the mind link again. He removed her hand from his waist. He tried to leave when Ethlyn quickly lifted her head and looked at the person disturbing her sleep.

“Alpha? What…

“Dare you to ask that question? Freshen up and join me in the training ground.” He said and left the room. Ethlyn sighed and closed her eyes, recalling how her wolf asked him to sleep with her. She hissed when she realized that he would definitely think of her as characterless now, but she would blame the one-sided bond.

She thought of waking up in a minute, and when she opened her eyes, the sun was now ascending the sky. It was no darker outside.

“Holy shit!” She cursed and checked the time. “It’s already seventy-twenty. I’m so dead.” She said, running into the washroom. Changing her clothes, she came running out of the room and found Calvin drinking coffee silently.

‘He is already back from training. He will scold me again.’ She thought and found him turning his gaze toward her at her presence. Ethlyn started wondering whether she should return back to the room or walk toward the kitchen to prepare lemonade for herself.

“Do you always have this much time to decide something?” Calvin asked more like mocked. Ethlyn didn’t say anything and walked toward the kitchen, but the moment she took a step past Calvin, he grabbed her arms and signaled toward something on the dining table.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

A glass of lemonade, a tablet, and normal water was kept in it. Calvin left her arms when he realized that she had already seen what he had arranged for her.

“Thank you, Alpha,” She muttered, taking place near him. “And I’m sorry for wasting myself on Alcohol. I promise that will never happen again. And I’m sorry for forcing you to sleep with me. That… that, too, won’t happen again. Also, I’m sorry for not being able to attend training in time; I had just closed my eyes for a minute and… ended up sleeping for more than three hours.”
