The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

Finally, the knot was opened, and he pulled it tight, on which Ethlyn moved closer to him. He looked at her face, her eyes were closed, and her hand had held the t-shirt tightly.

He tied a light knot and stood up on his feet. He wanted to tell her that it was done, but he silently just observed her in his clothes before walking out of the room.

“Mommy? Why are you standing like that?” Roselet asked in confusion, looking at Ethlyn when her father asked her to bring her mother with her.

Ethlyn was surprised to see how active and flexible Roselet was.

“Stop staring at her and show me some moves,” Calvin said, placing his hand on his height level, signaling her to touch it. It had been years since she worked out, so her body was not at all flexible. She tried to touch his hand but failed even after trying for a while.

“Tomorrow onwards, you will be joining the training at four in the morning,” Calvin said, observing her poor performance.

“I will have to join the training?” Ethlyn asked to confirm whether she heard it right because, in her previous pack, females were not allowed to train. Whatever she had learned was from her father just in case of self-defense.

“Did you hear me the first time? Hell, an omega can do much better than you. Your performance is below average.”

“You can’t expect me to jump like a monkey just after waking from the hospital.” Ethlyn pointed out.

“Do I look like a fool? It clears that you don’t know how to fight, and you can’t give an excuse by saying you were in the hospital. I haven’t fucked anyone since Rose entered my life, but that doesn’t mean I have forgotten how to fuck.”

“Ewww!!” Ethlyn made a face hearing it.

“You are giving me a reaction like you’re a virgin, and I have said something to corrupt your innocent mind,” Calvin said, making a face.

“I’m no virgin. But do you really have to use that point as an example?”

“Don’t tell me you didn’t like that example? Because I think you’re among those students who used to feel shy while reading reproductive parts of humans and, at the same time, used to enjoy reading that chapter a lot.”

“Gross!! You become a shameless person whenever you open your mouth.” Ethlyn said and started trying to touch his hand again.

“Rose, 100 pushups,” Calvin yelled, looking at his daughter, who had just finished the squad and was listening to songs via AirPods. Roselet nodded her eyes and took the position.

“She can do 100 pushups?” Ethlyn asked in surprise.

“No. Just 40. But I always give her a big target so that she will feel blessed when I will give her a big discount.” Calvin replied. “Now, start 100 pushups.” He ordered.

“100?”

“Yes?”

“You mean just 40?”

“It’s a hundred for you,” Calvin ordered, narrowing his eyes and showing her the right position. He placed a hand on her stomach and another one on her back. “Keep this straight.” He said while the butterfly flew into her stomach on his touch again. Thankfully, Calvin removed his hand away soon and started doing pushups along with them.

“Just one sip,” Calvin said softly, on which Roselet turned her head in the other direction, shaking her head. Ethlyn smiled at their bond. Roselet was mad at Calvin for scolding her multiple times during the workout and also had scolded her before. “It’s a yummy chocolate smoothie. You really don’t want to drink it?” He asked again.

“No.”

“Fine.” Calvin started drinking it and showed her the finished glass. “Tada. It’s finished.” Roselet’s face paled, looking at the glass. She thought her daddy would convince her a little more, but it looked like daddy was a foodie too.

“Aaaaaa” She cried, looking at the empty glass. “Calvin, how could you dri….” She stopped complaining when she saw Calvin showing her another glass.

“Do you want it, or should I drink it too?” Calvin teased.

“I want it.” She cried. Calvin gave her share of the smoothie and tried to touch her glass, but Roselet quickly turned her face in another direction holding her glass. Calvin grinned at her cute behavior and looked around, only to find Ethlyn looking at them with a smile on her face.

“I…I was observing the bond you both share with each other.” Ethlyn started explaining when she got caught by Calvin when her eyes were on her. “I wasn’t staring at just you.”

“But I didn’t even say anything.” Calvin grinned. “By the way, I talked with you about the investigation. Do you have anything to share?”

“Hmm.” Ethlyn nodded her head. “After Roselet will be asleep, then we can talk about it.”

Roselet looked at her parents suspiciously, wondering what they were going to talk about after she would be asleep.

“Finish your smoothie instead of using your mind unnecessarily like your mother,” Calvin said, hitting her head softly.© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“What do you mean by that?” Ethlyn questioned.

“The same you understood,” Calvin replied, and they started arguing by pointing out one another’s a mistake. Roselet silently watched them drinking her smoothie, looking at each of her parent’s faces.

“I’m pregnant,” Roselet said in the middle.

“What? WHAT?”

“Just kidding.” She said, leaving the chair. “I didn’t want both my parents to be together if you two are going to fight all the time. And I will go and stay with Grandpa and Grandma if you both will behave like this.”

“Rose…”

“Mom, I want to eat butter chicken with Garlic Naan for dinner.” Saying this, she left from there, dropping the jaws of both her parents.
