Chapter 226 Fighting

Dylan gritted his teeth and forcefully shook off Brendon's hand. "It's ridiculous that you don't even know where your own wife is," he sneered.

To Dylan, Brendon was utterly detestable.

"Ranita isn't with me, and if she avoided you, it means she doesn't want to see you!" Dylan pushed him against the wall with all his might, making a loud thud.

"Dylan! I'm not joking with you!"

In a split second, the two men were locked in a physical struggle. Dylan gritted his teeth and threw a punch at Brendon with his other hand.

Brendon dodged it but got hit on the shoulder instead.

"I'm not joking with you either! Ranita isn't with me!" Dylan had long held a grudge against Brendon, and finding the opportunity with Ranita absent, of course, led to a direct confrontation!

Brendon was also simmering with anger.

As soon as they started, it was like a spark falling into a haystack, and it immediately ignited with a loud crackle.

Finally, Brendon pressed his fist against Dylan's neck and looked at him murderously, "Dylan, I'll ask again - is Ranita here or not?!"

Dylan's eyes turned red as he became equally furious, "Are you insane?! If Ranita is here, would I open the door for you?!"

Brendon looked uncertain, "Then do you know where she went? She said she was going to see her friends but hasn't come back yet."

Ranita hadn't returned home all night?

Suddenly worried about her whereabouts too now, Dylan couldn't show any weakness in front of Brenden so he coldly sneered, "Are you actually worried about her? I thought all your attention only goes towards Shannon! Do you even care whether or not Ranita is home when taking care of Shannon?! You don't know anything yet dare act crazy over here?"

Each word from Dylan felt like huge boulders crashing down on top of Brenden's heart.

Feeling defeated by these words, Brenden let go of Dylan and sat dejectedly on the ground.

"Sorry... I lost my temper earlier," said Brendan softly, his eyes dark while regaining composure once more, "I'm just worried about her."

Dylan pursed his lips and picked up his phone to call Ranita. The phone rang only briefly before shutting off completely.

"She turned off her phone," muttered Dylan irritably.

"Did she mention anything about seeing friends?"

Brendon shook his head. "Didn't say anything." Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Dylan shot him a "what's the use of you" look, leaving Brendon feeling miserable. He sadly realized that he didn't seem to matter much in Ranita's heart.

"Contact separately, find her."

Dylan snorted coldly. "Fine."

For Ranita's sake, Dylan endured not kicking Brendon out.

Brendon first called Steve, but his assistant answered, saying Steve was in the middle of an emergency surgery.

Chris answered the phone, mentioning he hadn't seen Ranita.

Upon learning that Ranita hadn't returned home since going out in the evening, Chris immediately offered to help find her.

Brendon and Dylan made calls while driving to look for people.

At daybreak, Chris called Brendon to say they found Ranita's car in the C-club parking lot.

Brendon rushed over there right away.

He met Chris at the door. "Brendon, my cousin's friend owns this club. Let's go check the surveillance footage."

"Ranita was indeed at C-club bar for a while but left within half an hour. She went into a blind spot on camera near the entrance before disappearing from view completely."

In such a short distance where did she go?

"Caleb! Get everyone together! We need to turn Kurima upside down until we find her!" After watching surveillance footage with cold eyes and furrowed brows, Brendon pushed open the door of the monitoring room while making phone calls.
