“How does this have anything to do with her?!!” Duke was compelled to raise his voice. He’d known Wyatt for years, but Wyatt was still speculating about whether Ivy would attend his birthday party. Duke had not anticipated Ms. Ivy Morgan’s attendance at his party. Ivy turned around after overhearing their conversation. Suddenly, a small figure with a regretful expression ran toward her. “Pretty Lady…” Ivy maintained her position and smiled gently. “Pierce, what is the matter?” Wyatt and Duke became aware of them. Duke knocked over Wyatt’s wheelchair. “What a fortunate occurrence! We were simply looking for you, Ms. Morgan,” Duke smiled. Ivy brushed his words aside and stroked Pierce’s curly hair. His sapphire eyes were filled with disappointment. “I scoured the entire cruise ship and was unable to locate your preferred white chrysanthemums.” There was a brief pause in the conversation. ‘That’s a good thing!’ Duke couldn’t stop himself from laughing. “The entire crew will be fired if you find white chrysanthemums on this ship today!” Pierce regarded him suspiciously and inquired, “Why?” Duke rubbed his nose and pretended not to respond. Wyatt rolled his eyes and then fixed his gaze on Ivy. “Will you push me up onto the deck for a rest, Ivy?” Ivy clenched her fists. ‘Is he so accustomed to bossing me around at this point?!’ She gave a cursory smile. “Sure.” Ivy approached and pushed away his wheelchair. Duke shook his head and considered, ‘Can’t he see how hesitant this young lady is? Is Wyatt attempting to court or torment her?’

Pierce was about to pursue Ivy when Duke halted him. “What are your plans? Keep a safe distance from those lovebirds. They cultivate their emotions!” Pierce squinted. “What emotions? Pretty lady is unconcerned about Whiner Mister! She has feelings only for me!” He stood there grunting, his hands on his waist. His clear eyes screamed defiance. ‘Whiner Mister is in no way suitable for Pretty Lady!’ Duke lowered his gaze to the child. “Tsk, tsk... What do you know, youngster? He looked Leo in the eyes with his clear innocent eyes and appeared to be quite adorable. “I am aware. Today is Pretty Lady’s daddy’s birthday! Uncle Leo, have a happy birthday!” Leo was ecstatic. His heart melted at the prospect of rewarding this child, and he rummaged through his pockets for his wallet.
